Ho Fun is what I was referring to. Udon comes a close second though, so props to Japan for that.

actually you should try ban mien as well, simple yet nice
how about some nice thai basil chicken? but I don't even want to imagine what the anglo saxon world has turned asian cuisine into :vomit:

Which one is typically use in ramen? I keep thinking it's lo mein.

Japanese. At least California-Japanese like sushi, sashimi, teriyaki, and tempura. I don't know how authentic these are.

California rolls /= Japanese, at least they didn't used to. Some of my friends over there like them, apparently. Most of what you find in America makes it over there eventually, so it's all as Japanese as Baseball. California must have better sushi than here in Colorado; all the fish we get here was at some point flash-frozen, so it tastes like crap.

You should try soba, and see if you can find a shabu-shabu place nearby. Shabu-shabu places are what you might call "lazy style" restaurants, where you get the ingredients but you have to cook them. You cook them in a boiling sauce of whatever kind is appropriate for what you ordered, and it can be really good.

What do girls and noodles have in common?

Spoiler :
they wiggle when you eat them.

That doesn't make sense................................

You're doing it wrong....

 Yeah, that was why I tried it in the first place! "£5 for Ho Fun?! Bargain!" And my friend's first name is "Ho" as well, so it was doubly awesome!

You need one more Ho to be on par with Santa. Better get a Lorry then (C)2008 Clarkson.
