Which Civ are you waiting most for?

Hard to saz, Bzyantines or Vikings...

BTW, this stupid computer replaces y with z.

It seems to me that your "z" and "y" keys are in the wrong position on your keyboard. Try popping them out and switching their positions.

Uhh maybe calling them Hebrew would be better. Leader could be... well, they could have alot of leaders. Solomon or David namely.

Spiritual/Industrious
I'll happy if civ can simulated a nation being exiled. I think it is an interesting idea.... If you lose your empire, you're not yet lose the game...

Aside from not being a civilization, I think the Polynesians would have a very cool UU, a Galley that can travel across the ocean! Imagine the possibilties for early exploration and expansion...

- They'd always be the first to make contact with other civs, giving trading oppertunities
- They'd be able to pop goody huts on all the islands around the world
- They'd have the first pick of colonizing new continents, even if maintenance would limit early settlement

Israel, they are long overdue.
Israel? Pfah. Let's compare contributions, shall we?

  • Israel: wrote a Magic Book about a Magic Sky Faerie that caused millions of people to kill each other for thousands of years.
  • Hawaii: invented surfing.

My vote goes to the Hawaiians.

Personally I'd like to see Korea first, or native American civs for that matter, from what I know South East Asian civs never did play a major part in the world (correct me if I'm wrong, with sources please, not expert on the region ;) ).

I don’t know of anything of world importance that Korea has done in history outside of playing proxies in the Cold war for larger powers. I am educated but I couldn’t tell you what major role Korea played in history outside of what was stated above. Native Americans? Huh? What has any Native American tribe done that had any impact on the world at all? I would dare say more people in this world have heard of Siam/Thailand over any American tribe. I don’t think that only Civs that have played a large world role should be considered anyway; if it were Native American civs (ALL of them) would not be considered. I think looking at many different factors for determining which 'Civs' should be included is best, not just world impact. I think it all comes down to what we, as individuals happen to like about a culture that would determine why we think they should be added. Personally I like the distinct Siamese/Thai People, Country and culture, it is like nowhere else on earth, has a rich history and at one time did have what many European traders/envoys/explorers considered one the grandest city on earth- Ayuthaya. You may have never heard of it, but that doesn’t mean it was of no importance in the mid 15th century. Modern day Bangkok is a spledid city as well. Siam was a large Asian trading center at that time and Thailand continues to be an area of economic importance.
