Which Civ do you most want back?

Hey folks -

I know many of the leaders have been potentially spoiled from the portraits list thread (which spoilers I myself am mostly trying to avoid), but barring the fact that we have a firm idea who's in the game - which Civ are you most hoping to see come back in the base game of Civ6?

My personal hope is for Brazil to make it back. I think they're an interesting nation with important history that lends itself to new ideas. Plus South America tends to be unrepresented in Civ, and I personally get tired of all the European-centricness of the game. I also love dark horses.

So, who are you most interested in seeing?

Brazil is probably in and actually Brazil is Eurocentrism since the modern state of Brazil is a result of European colonialism. If you want something that's not Eurocentric, it's Incas - a far worthier one to be in.

Although I love the Mongols, I would most want to see the mighty and glorious Persians back in the base game. Their accomplishments as a civilization were very impressive and dwarf that of other nations included in the "leak". Not naming any civs specifically but some of the civs speculated to be in the base game really ought to be in expansions instead.

I'm hoping for some of the Mesopotamian civs.
Sumeria, Babylon, Assyria, Akkadian, etc.

Something like Siam, from South East Asia.

Byzantium in an xpack, since Rome amd Greece appear to be in the base game. If Persia isnt included in tje base game it woukd be a travesty of the highest order though.

Like outside of the core civs that are in every iteration? I really liked the Shoshone. I'd like them back or at least another Plains Native American Civ.

The Vikings were in Civ2. I'd like them back.

Mali, Khmer and the Hittites, because fan favourites like Persia, Mongolia, Korea, the Ottomans and pretty much any civ from Europe are basically guaranteed to make it in eventually.

The Vikings were in Civ5 as well. They did call them Denmark, but it was de facto Vikings.

Sioux, Shoshone, Iroquois, Khmer, Byzantium, Ottomans, Persia, Hitties, Babylon, (Sumeria), Portugal, Netherlands, Low-key Austria, Zulu, Inca, Maya and Carthage.

Indonesia was my favorite civ in civV. I'll be so glad to play them again!

Hittites, and Inca, its possible that the Sumerians are in (I hope so) so we need more Civs there.

the Persians better be in or else, cant even have Alexander without Persia.

Vikings are awesome but I'm expecting them to be an expansion civ along with the Byzantines.

I liked Siam, Indonesia, and the Inca the most from Civ V. I'm sure the Inca will be back at some point. We may be getting something different from Southeast Asia. Although SEA is one of my favorite places in the world, I'd be happier to see something from my favorite place, the Himalayas.
