It seems to pan out about the way I would have expected.

1957 and still playing computer games.

1980. Been playing Civ since 1997.

The best year to be born in is... 69.

Let's hear it for the (currently) 7 70+ year-olds, most of who knew most of the Civ leaders when they were actually alive! :D

You should have broken this out more in the core ages of 15-35. There are not a lot of similarities between someone born in 1980 and 1989 when it comes to how they relate to Civ. One might have gotten the original, while the other certainly didn't start playing until well after 2 was out and possibly 3.

This poll was launched in September 5, 2004. It was an attempt to replace all the "how old are you" threads with one that would not be outdated. While not perfect, it has provided 6 years of age data. It would be cool to have snapshots of the poll results every year to compare changes, but c'est la vie. It wasn't designed differentiate beyond basic decade data. :)

Well, seven of them have voted, how many of them are still around....:mischief:

February 1978. I actually played Civ1 a lot... Started with BtS last year.

Bumped. (Because recent duplicate thread closed, and I think the results might be interesting). I'm 1950s, by the way.
