C'mon 60s!!! Lets go oldtimers!! Vote in the decade of love (or turmoil... you pick - hehe)

Borned in 80's! And for the guy who said that nothing important happened in 80's: Of course it happened, I borned :>>>

Ps: Just wondering who are the 5 in 30's or earlier! I like that, keep your soul young :)

^^Kansas city fan? Kevin Samson went to my highschool. Tamba Halli(sp?) went to my sisters! They were good friends. Pretty small world.

I was born in 1965. And my birthday was 2 days ago. Imagine my surprise to find a birthday greeting from CivFanatics in my Inbox that morning!
I started with Civ II, and introduced my husband (born in 1960) to it. He is almost as fanatical about the game as I am, but he has less time to play. And our daughters, one born in 1988 and one in 1990, both love it too.

I was born in the 60's, but my kids (ages 8 and 13) also love the game (though they play it quite differently than I do -- more like a Real-Time Strategy game than I would like then too;)

Ok Turner, but how do I view profiles? This Board is so different from the ones I am used to. :(

@Grand Dad - Click on the name to bring a drop-down menu of options, or if there's an avatar, you can click on that and it will go directly to the profile.

@blitzkrieg1980 - Cool! I was >< This close to going to school with Kristy Yamaguchi (the olympic skater), and my cousins used to play baseball with Dennis Eckersly.

It is, indeed, a small world.

I've just trawled this thread looking for "old-timers" and found :-
Me ... Dec. 1933
Grand Dad ... Aug. 1935
Mista ... 1936
sela 1s 1son's father ... 1938

But the poll shows 5 voters from the thirties. Who's missing ? Will he (or she) please come forward and perhaps steal my claim to being the oldest civver ?

I think that Scloopy is one. You might check her out in the members list.

EDIT: Oops, sorry, Scloopy is 1941.

Being from the Nuclear duck-and-cover lessons in grade-school era, I wonder how if my simular aged players are quicker, or later to try to ban nuclear weapons. No judgement here, just an ingrained dread, I guess. After all, we were shown some REALLY scarey film lessons (I was in 2nd grade in '54).
