1961. Played my first board wargame in 1974, my first RPG (D&D) in 1975, and my first computer game in 1979. Played Civ 1 to death on my first computer, which had 1 meg of ram and a hard drive that held 20 meg (which I never filled). It ran at 12 Mhz.
I wonder if strategy games will vanish with the last generations of players now?
I wonder this because i have noticed a trend that children seem to be becomming more and more addicted to seeking immediate stimulation in prefference to investing a little time on somthing! Strategy games will not fit well with this trend?

When I was your age, I worried about this, too. But I have found that there are always those who will enjoy investing some time on something worthwhile.
ummm, I must say I like the Beatles more...I personally think this should be moved to the CivRev section cuz that's where most new members are gonna be I'm guessing.
