Which game should I get?

The choices are:

- Assassin's Creed

- Call of Duty 2 (I've been searching for this game forever, but I have Vista and am not sure if it would play)

- Mass Effect

All prices are $20

Please explain why I should get game x and what's so great about game x.

Mass Effect 1. Prequel to a super great game that you will want to play eventually (Mass Effect 2). Very good game in itself, loved the story. Great atmosphere, fun characters, can be quite funny if you play Renegade, hehe. Gotta like RPGs though.

Assassin's Creed was a good game but it frustrated me so much with its wasted potential. You have these great cities to explore with virtually nothing to do in them except kill people randomly. You can apparently do the assassinations anyway you want although you'd be quite stupid not to do it in the one obvious way the game designers wanted you to do it. I am looking forward to playing Assassin's Creed 2, however I am waiting for it to be on special, as opposed to Mass Effect 2, which I bought right away.

Only one I've played is Call of Duty 2, which is a pretty good game. Single player is high quality if a little short, if you are interested in multiplayer though there are better options around.

Mass Effect and then mass Effect 2 (its actually worth the full price). Assassin's Creed is almost given away regularly for $9.99 or $5 and that is just on steam... so don't bother paying more than that for it.
