PCs, definitely. Simply and overall: nothing runs on Macs. Macs lost the market war decades ago and they're not making a comeback - if everybody was using Macs, then everybody would use Macs, but that's not the way it is.
What's most suspicious about Macs to me is the fact that they never promote and I never hear of any actual superior applications of theirs these days. (at most, they just promote ease of access+lack of viruses and stuff, but that's way down the list for any user excepts grandmas) Back in the day, Macs may have had various performance edges on graphics and the like, but these if they even still matter aren't enough. From what I've see around university work, you'd think can handle less than even I know they should...always incompatible with various languages, having trouble with programs like Mathematica or MATLAB... Why, even if something as frivolous/consumer oriented as high-end gaming, I've never heard of Macs excelling or working well at all. Anyone else here got anything better going for Macs? So I still think Macs are great as flashy, expensive stuff for folks who have no real need for anything special anyway, and probably will just end up running every Windows program on them in the end. Of course, the flip side is the impression that stuff overall is a lot more compatible with anything these days, and people can make Macs work...but I don't think it's work the effort.
