While We Wait: Part 3

For ye post-mongerers, there is a neat feature in the profiles that shows how many posts one makes per day on the average. sp1023 has 10.13 to Abaddon's 7.03. I'm not sure who is more pitiable.

Holy farce! Are you serious? That's crazy! I post way too much.

@Abaddon: What are the best tourist sights in London? I'm going in the summer, so that's my reason for inquiring.

That's a lot. :)

EDIT: Does any1 feel offended at my signature? Speak now or forever hold your peace.

BTW: They are in no particular order.

Breaks forum rules twice--discusses other users and is too long.

I like it, but the Mods will Warn you for that. Thou may not discuss other members during a longer period (And a sig is a permanent, therefore long, period)

Oh, and actually I want to post something about your sig sp1023...

Initially you seemed like a noob. You do know the difference between a noob and a newb right? Though, eventually, after the spam (Abby and me usually does the same, even though we use to stick to a subject), you appeared to be quite fair at the deal of NESing. You did manage to realize that you were not that good and is currently adapting to the level of NESing which much of us have (I, personally, isn't the most talented NESer, and is pretty new to it, but I like playing the thing). Actually you improved a lot faster than I thought initially, at least, and you look like you will do pretty well at NESing. You will at least be as good as me, at least.

I guess I should've done that over PM... >.<

I beg to differ. I suck. You don't. You are good. I am not. It is as simple as that.

Actually, no. I have been NESing for approximately 3 months. And to compare the ratio of my improvement to the months I have NESed, is like...
0.00000001:3. But yes, my posts at the beginning were a lot worse when compared to the ones I make today. Still, if the improvement ratio was better, I would have more self esteem. It's not, so I don't have much.

Some people think the NESing forum can be hostile or difficult to penetrate, but we just expect more from all our members, who can get more in return. If you want to be a NESer, expect to be held to a higher standard for intelligent posting, less spam, and things like common sense and respect that aren't taken for granted in other places.

And then, if you really enjoy NESing, your writing skills and ability to analyze information will improve, along with general skills in history and geography, and plenty of other bonuses. Even posters that are initially "noobish" ALWAYS get better if they can take constructive criticism, and put effort into the experience.

It's just because we really ARE that good. ;)
