While We Wait: Part 3

sp1023, everyone starts off as a newb. Here are a few excerpts from a discussion after my very first posts in the NES forum.

If you stick with it and act mature, you'll be getting along just fine.

Currently, my biggest lack in NES-related knowledge is geography.

Dunnow, just had to post it.

Which NES was that?

And btw, does anyone have a link to the first NES ever?

@lord_joakim- Pre-JNES, one of Jason's NESes that never got off the ground.

The original NES is UKNemesis' 'The Never Ending Story'. But DON'T POST IN IT! It is like a holy shrine of NESing.

here.

Note that you can sort by thread start time. This is good for answering questions like that.

How come those people stopped NESing btw? Is there still anyone left from the original?

EDIT: EQandcivfanatic, w00t!

Ah yes. I remember that, back before I gave away the Das account. :shifty:

I do not remember being that crazy when I started. I was a fairly calm when posting but my orders and planning was horrible.

My worst memory is playing the United States and losing Washington D.C. to the south. It is a good thing that NES did not continue another update after that :).

I am QUITE embarrassed at myself from when I started. (September '06)

Especially at AHY In the Shadow of Rome. MEIN GOTT!

I started as the US in the same Nes

I still remember everyone saying that I'd sold out my alliance... (I was totally innocent, for those who weren't there to see it) NES2 V wasn't a great experience for me.
