I don't have a problem with camping per se, but in the way camping is usually executed. I for example, like the ramp and room section to the right of the elevator in Guardian (if you are facing away from the elevator), because it's a great place to prowl with the Shotgun and exposes you to way less chance of death than if you wander around the rest of the map, and you can snipe and grenade several areas. That's technically camping, but it's area control. A lot of campers are just spot control, and it's those people who suck.Taking the metaphorical form of a prostitute is much easier when all you have to do is sit in a corner/on a ledge with your favorite shotgun/rocket launcher and blast those that walk by - this isn't a good thing.
Hell, you can even area control the Ops Center on The Pit instead of just hiding on a table. It makes people think they have a chance of taking the sword, and serves as a better lure.
See for me, I think I've actually hit something of a plateau. The thing is, there's no way to "train" or "get better" except playing itself, so you have to fight your way through said plateau. My 44 in Lone Wolves is not due to being "stuck," but to having no chance to play since reaching there.
