While We Wait: The Next Generation

REALITY IS UNREALISTIC. Let us discuss what you think is unrealistic, and let's wait for someone to point out a historic act that you would probably classify as unhistorical (if any)!

To be fair, NESers are doing a good job of keeping up a high ratio of insane kings to their reality-based counterparts.

there should be "conflict - beginning" with a peak, then the amount decreases below peacetime average, and then peaking again on "conflict - end" to new unsurpassed hight with all the peace negotiations and councils et cetera...

That graphic it so true...I'm experiencing it in my NES right now.

Diplomacy posted in-thread ain't the same as diplomacy exchanged by PM, IM, chat room, and the like.

Unhistorical historical event: honestly, very little surprises me anymore, but in recent reading, the Colonna revolution in the 1430s in Rome made absolutely no sense.

I just uploaded a handful of potentially useful maps in the map thread. Most are probably useless, but I thought I'd let people know. (I just edited an old post and added them so I posted here to let people know).

I'd like to be the first to call for the closure of #NES.

Mainly 'cuz you people suck.

Whats #NES?

#NES is our under-used chat channel.

As I've suggested about 30 million times before, I think we should organize meeting times on #NES to talk about NESing or NES development, how to improve the forum, general topics like that.

The reason for most people not coming on is "no one's ever on." If we use AMAZIN BRAIN POWERZ to figure out when most people will be on, people will log on during those times.

You're never on. :p

The whole point of IRC is idling until someone interesting comes on or a group of idlers are on at the same time anyway.

Whats #NES?

There's a very nice little section on "How to Connect" under the NESing group. Go there and follow the Yellow Brick Road home.

Y'know, the hardest part of doing something is the talking. Oh, pity on your soul, you saint! : p.

I can't even follow a national sport so the yellow brick road is out of the question.

And theres my answer.

#NES chat is for talking about how awesome I am.

Or something like that.

O rly? I thought it was for driving Darkening to drinking ;)

Lol all.

Well, I'm usually running ChatZilla when Firefox pops up - that said, I'm online most of the time. I was just online the whole night, while I slept :p

Activity? well, sure, when I'm awake and people write stuff to notice me something is going on. Like, typing two letters: lj. ;)

Oh, and Kentharu, you may be awesomer, but I'm prettier than you. :p
