Who do you consider annoying?

The attitude bonus for culture groups is minor. Very, very minor.

Hay I don't really hate America in real life, but in the game *swipes forehead of sweat* they really give me a run for my money...literally.

I think the AZTECS are very good civ to play!! got a domination victory with them before.

Any modern Civ - damn things have no place in 3000 BC! If I see America, France, England - they're doomed. I want them off my map!

I just can't stand Persia. I play Babylon a lot, and the Persians almost always turn on me at some point. I like to play with cultural linked starting positions, so I'm almost always right next to them. As a matter of fact, I really can't remember a game where I wasn't at war with the Persians at some point.

I hate America, they beg for tribute I never give and then go to war with me. Hell, halftimes, they're halfway across the globe and I never see a single unit from them.

BTW, I'm American in RL. Just so no one tries to go all patriot on me.

I can't stand Sumeria, especially in MP when all your opponent does is build a bunch of them and expand like crazy, and even if you try to take one of their cities, you won't have a chance in the Ancient age because they have so many "Roaches," which is the name most MP players call Enkidu Warriors.

Then tunr off culturally-linked start locations...

Nah, then it wouldn't be any fun. I enjoy the competition... Every now and then I try to trust them, but it never works. So nine out of ten games I just kill the dirty Persians :satan:

Carthage and those blasted Numidians really cook my bacon. Those Numidians are apparently greater than anything up to and incuding Knights, and can even mow down my Cavs ( ) Plus Hannibal looks like a scrub :p

1. Aztecs- At least half of my games they demand stuff early on.
2. Iroquois- Actually did a worker resource denial on me once (AI, not human.)
3. Inca- Expand too fast and get too many techs.
4. Germany- RoP abuse....
5. Mongols- Always declare war, sign peace, then re-declare within a few turns.

By the way, how many of these threads have there been? Seems like a lot.

Aztecs

Romans

Koreans and Suimerians always get a HUGE tech lead late game.

Any expansionist culture is going to irk me, because that's MY strategy and I always find myself going to war over precious land/resources. I don't particularly like the Zulu, either. Keep ya damn scouts out my turf, yo. P.S. ATHF hasn't been cancelled. You are being duped.

I personaly hate the Babalonians, they seem to think there special even when the're not. The other thing that annoys me is bow men, they rarely capture cities and when you have no iron you cant kill them easily.

In all but one game where I was with the Iriquois, it came down into a match between me and them. The Inca and Maya always seem to best me in almost everyway, the Zulu and Persians are just aggressive, and the Sumerians, Celts, and Carthaginians are completel evil. Russia always backstabs me, and America and England always seem to do good for some reason.

In Civilization II, India out-of-the-blue launched a massive nuclear assault on me. I still don't trust them.

The Mongols have to be the most aggressive towards me with the Japanese closely following. Unfortuantely for them both right now, it's 1500 AD and I have 135 tanks.

I'd have to say my wife when she keeps saying "Are you playing that d*** game again?"

I highly dislike the aggressive civ (Zulus, Germans, Aztecs...). They are just acting arrogant and trying to do some sneaky stuff.
