just a kind of strange question, who represents you in your federal government, (no matter what country you live in)

I live in the USA :goodjob: :nuke: :goodjob: :nuke: :king:

I am represented by none other than the now (sort of) famous Bart Stupak (house) :p  (democrat guy who was still standing up against the healthcare bill until just recently)

Carl Levin and Debbie Stabinaw  in the senate

My president is none other than Barack Obama

(i just thought it appropriate that my 100th post was a new thread) :D

one more thing, please no debates, just post who represents you :D

Pete Sessions in the House, Kay Bailey Hutchinson and John Cornyn in the Senate. Not that they ever vote the way I would like, though.

POTUS: Barack Obama :goodjob:
VPOTUS: Joe Biden :goodjob:
Senator 1: John Kerry :)
Senator 2: Scott Brown [pissed]
House: Bill Delahunt :)

Senator Barbara Boxer
Senator Diane Feinstein
Representative George Miller
Those are my reps you!

President: Barack Obama
VP: Joe Biden
Senators: Barbara Boxer
Diane Feinstein

USRep: Jerry McNerney

No one really comes close to actually representing my positions.

My state is represented by Senators Saxby Chambliss (R) and Johnny Isakson (R).

My congressional district is now represented by Congressman Hank Johnson (D). Before him was Cynthia McKinney, who went on to be the Green Party candidate for president after she lost to him. I live in a somewhat right-leaning part of what is probably the most left-leaning district in a right leaning state.

haha wana hear a joke, sarah palin might be able to see russia from her window (tina fey actually said that anyway) but i have friends in Sault St. Marie MI that can acually see canada from there window TRUE STORY

(and i know its pretty lame that i even posted this) :D

I know the name of the Norwegian prime minister(Jens Stoltenberg). But who represents my county in the parliament? God only knows.

Senate:

David Vitter (R)
Mary Landrieu (D)

House:
"Joesph" Cao (R). Cao is the first Vietnamese-American elected to Congress...which is a little strange, because he represents New Orleans, a city that is heavily African-American and Democratic...not Asian and Republican.

I didn't vote for any of these guys, since Ive only been here eight months. I may very well vote for Cao, but my two senators are trash.

Senate:
John Kerry (D)
Scott Brown (R)(feels great to write that)

House: Richard Neal (D). Party line, bland, bad politician who makes it due to a heavily democratic rather jerrymandered district. though I did get to meet him, and have pictures taken with him when my brother won the district art compitition.

United States Executive Branch
President Barack Obama (D) (did not vote for)

United States Senate
Kit Bond (R) (voted for) (Bond is retiring and Robin Carnahan (D) will probably replace him)
Claire McCaskill (D) (did not vote for, but it was a win win because I liked both candidates)

United States House of Representatives
Ike Skelton (D) (voted for)

Missouri Executive Branch
Governor Jay Nixon (D) (voted for)

Missouri Senate
Senator David Pearce (R) (voted for)

Missouri House of Representatives
Barney Fisher (R) (did not vote for)

I could have just linked to this...and it does show other office holders for me, but they don't "represent me" directly:
http://www.senate.mo.gov/llookup/Leg_Results2.aspx?Zip=64730&Zip4=2321

Howard Zinn, Pete Seeger, Billy Bragg.

Australian Senate (Victorian senators):
Kim Carr (ALP) • Jacinta Collins (ALP) • Stephen Conroy (ALP) • David Feeney (ALP) • Steve Fielding (FFP) • Mitch Fifield (Lib) • Helen Kroger (Lib) • Gavin Marshall (ALP) • Julian McGauran (Lib) • Michael Ronaldson (Lib) • Scott Ryan (Lib) • Judith Troeth (Lib)

And I'd rather not say who represents me in the house of reps, because I'm perhaps a tiny bit paranoid, and there are less than 100,000 people in my electoral division.
