Juventus could have been more lucky, but it doesn't matter - they will beat anybody.
I would love to see Real Madrid knocked out and it seems possible. Maybe it would teach Real that there are more important things than how many shirts they sell in Asia.
I wouldn't be so sure that Man Utd will advance to the next round. IMHO Porto, with Bayern and Deportivo, were the strongest runners-up.
@ dell I don't hate Manchester Utd., oposite I like'em and would be nice that they won ECL this year (I'll support'em 'till the end), but... (I know it's too early) feel like the cup will go to Italy again (or eventualy London, but not Chelsea).
So: Arsenal, Juventus or Milan.
About Real Madrid, I don't think they can do it this season from the game that I saw, they are so.. ..mild (I don't know is it a right word tho)
PS I must say when I saw your name on post I always think of Dell boy from "only fools and horses" . Ofcourse in a good funy way
Quite my opinion, but I'd go further and say Juventus. Madrid lacks defensive capability, Chelsea is probably not a real team yet, so Juventus is the overall strongest team in Europe (and the the world) imho.
Their recent 7:0 without some of their best players was pretty impressive too.
I went for Man U, but could equally have gone for Juventus.
I think Stuttgart have a pretty good chance against Chelsea; they're disciplined enough in defence, and Chelsea do still have misunderstandings and/or make mistakes when they're defending themselves.
Stuttgart have a chance against Chelsea if they play like they did in the first game against ManU, where they rather looked like AC Milan last year than like the very young team they are.
But at the moment they're building up a little crisis, which is understandable after their overwhelming successes this year. They probably work better as a team than Chelsea, but the individual players lack the experience and the ability to deal with all the success they recently went through. And at least some players just can't be compared to players like Crespo, Duff or Makele, even if we take their potential into consideration.
I'm somewhat curious how they will fare next year in the national and the champons league though. If they regain that combination of youth spirit and tactical brilliance, they have a chance to win the german league and to beat at least Chelsea.
Its just that we are all united together Or it could just be that neutrals think that Man United will win or that some people haven't voted because they are still upset about their own teams not qualifying...
