WHoward's Pick 'N' Mix Mods

All of my (non-obsolete) mods are compatible with BNW only - regardless of their name. I've given up supporting vanilla and G&K only mods. If you're having an issue with "UI - Condensed Promotions (GK)" in BNW there must be another mod changing one of the three UnitPanel files and causing a conflict

"UI - Found Pantheon Button" has been rolled into "UI - Religion Spread"

Besides playing with most of your mods I use your mods as learn modding-by-example, I've noticed the following lines in many of your mods' modinfo file:

<PediaCategory>UI</PediaCategory>
<PediaAtlas>UNIT_ATLAS_2</PediaAtlas>
<PediaIndex>47</PediaIndex>

With different values of course, can you refer me to some online sources to find out more of their use, I never get them from using modbuddy.

Any chances of updating your DLL for 34 civs?
because the original one works, but the 34civ DLL does not enable the mods, that require your DLL file.
 
In case anyone is wondering why v44 has three proposals per League session, its a "code escape" from CSD and not intentional

great job updating your DLL, but now almost all "Global" mods and a bunch of other seem to not work, as they don't recognize the DLL file, and they cannot be activated. Am i missing something?
 
You'll also need "UI - Great Work Manager" which adds a right-click to the Tourism icon
 
Quoting myself (from September 2013):

Two suggestions for your "Global - City Forest Bonus" mod:

  • Make the production bonus only available after researching Mining (which allows to chop forests);
  • Reduce the bonus from 25 to 20 (same as when chopping forests inside one's territory).

Please consider the above changes. In any case, thanks for providing many great mods!
 
@lockstep - as I had to fix a bug in the city forest bonus code I took the opportunity to put the modifier on the ring-1 chop for the city centre (ring-0) into the config file - the default is 125% (for 25 hammers) but you can set that to 100% (for 20 hammers) I also added a config option to specify a prereq tech (default is none) but you can set that to Mining if you want.
 
@whoward69: Many thanks -- however, my browser still shows City Forest Bonus v2 (July 2013) as the lastest version available at your web site. Deleting the browser cache didn't help.

The bug was fixed in the DLL and that's where the config changes are as well - you'll need to wait until v47 of the DLL is released (or download the beta from the Morindim thread in New Civs)
 
Hello Whoward,

Will you consider to add to your UI mods a mod that will flag a city with an airport with some kind of a marker so to find them easily, playing on huge map size makes it difficult to find a city with an airport.(unless of course it's already there and I don't know where to look.)

Maybe an addition to city banner mod?

I very, very, rarely build airports - I've usually wiped everything out by then or got bored waiting for the inevitable victory to roll on - so why do you need to know???

Hi, I play a lot on Huge/Marathon/Domination so it comes to be vast distances to send units so I put an airport in two or three of my early cities and usually rush buy an airport on far locations to transport in one turn several units and later on move those unit to a third location by airport and so on, that's is usually towards the end of the game ~ turn 1,100 to 1,200, that takes several weeks with several hours now and then, here you go, my confession:rolleyes:
