Why no Great Philosophers?

For every 1 James Bond out there, there are probably 10 mathematicians and 500 translators sitting comfortably at desks in their own country.

But I think that those people can be some way considered as specialized "scientists", especially the mathematician ones. But anyway, I don't want to start a long-lasting arguing. Everyone has his/her own opinions.

OOohhh Just had an idea!
Explorer specialists explore cities like New New York from Futurama!!!

Okay, I was feeling a tad chirpy. Maybe explorer specialists should be nonexistent and Great Explorers gotten another way, like the Great General. More tiles explored, more GEs recieved. However, that would make it finite, unles s you added an algorithm for getting points everytime you find out more about another Civ's cities, ignoring PAs.

A Great Scientist can found an academy and help research techs faster.
Among these techs are: Philosophy, communism, ...
Thus philosophers should be included among the Great Scientists.
