Widescreen resolution bugs

Running game at 5968x1080 on Eyefinity. Game runs but with many glitches. Intro movie and splash screen do not display (not really bothered). Leader head animations do not display (mildly annoying). Game zoomed in much too close compared to single screen resolutions (for me very annoying).

No problem with cursor as reported by other users with multiple monitors.

Does the static leader screen display if you turn the leader quality to minimum?

Not surprised about the zoom, the field of view was also broken in civ4.
