It is indefinately postponed IIRC.

Meaning there not going make it for the Wii unless sales on other consoles are ridiculously good.

No, sadly. Pretty silly decision on the part of the publisher. And people wonder why Take-Two is on the verge of being bought out by EA...

IMO Gamespot's award for "worst trend" went to "lousy Wii ports", and they said that they would prefer no Wii port over a bad one.

I could care less what the game LOOKS like. Civ's a strategy game, right? As long as the interface is clean and presentable, graphics are irrelevant. And if Firaxis can create a DS game - a DS version! - in which the gameplay is supposed to be identical, they darn well can do the same for the Wii.

I know, I've heard Firaxis' excuses. I just don't buy them.

Yeah, I agree with you. There should be a Wii version.

Who knows, maybe there might still be one. Like how the GameCube version of Ikaruga was originally going to be a Japan-only release but ended up being released in the rest of the world anyway.
