Wii still ahead

Nah, the original gameboy has sold a riduclus number

Wiki:
As of March 31, 2005, the Game Boy and Game Boy Color combined have sold 118.69 million units worldwide

PS2:The PS2 is part of the sixth generation era, and is the best-selling console to date,[5][6] having reached over 120 million units in sales in 2007.

;) Guess your right

The problem with the Wii is that sometimes I just want to play a regular game with a regular controller...

In other words, if I bought a Wii, I'd probably buy a 360 or a PS3 as well. If other people do the same, and treat Wii's as separate from normal games consoles, then I guess that would explain why they're beating 360s and PS3s...

Yeah. Most of the time in Twilight Princess I just end up locking on to an enemy and pressing "A" to attack.

Honestly, for me, the Wii has been a huge disspointment. If it wasn't for the Zelda frnachise and Smash Bros., I would have sold it a while ago online with all my peripherals and games. It would have left me just 50-100 bucks short of buying a PS3 and 360.

What about Super Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, and Resident Evil 4?

MP3 bored me after 5 minutes, its just halo. RE4 you can get on the GameCube.

I am yet to try SMG.. but those are just 3 games, other consoles have 20,30 games that deserve the top spot. Wii is VERY thin at the top.

Couldn't really get into Galaxy, haven't tried MP3, RE4 already was on GC and PS2.

PS3 is very thin at the top to though. Xbox 360 has perhaps the most solid line up although a lot of it is FPS's.

Personally, I don't like these violent FPS games. They are simply too violent and bloody.

My favourite Character Game is the Rayman Series (I'm pretty sissy, right?).

I want action, excitement and goose skin on my arms. Not violence, blood and terror melting my mind.

I do in fact have a blood fobia. As fast as I see a drip of blood, I just want to runaway and hide in my bed.

In My Honest Opinion.

Who is agreeing with me that realism isn't the same as violence and cynism?

Deep, you might enjoy that Raymay is being revived for the Wii then :)

The violence has to have a meaningful purpose IMO.

I wonder what's his definition of "violent". I'm fine if it's Half-Life or Halo (I myself am not allowed to buy those games, though I CAN play them), but you really need to redefine if it means Battlefield, Call of Duty, and/or Metroid Prime.

Well, Rayman did star in the best third-party game on the Wii at launch...

All this violence is basically porn these days. Like that saw series, that's nothing but some torture porn. I think it does translate to the video games too. I don't think people even think about it anymore when they buy these things. I am buying a game where my kid goes around and shoots people. I am one of those people that think violence is way to prevelant though and does affect people in a negative way...

At first I scoffed at the Wii when it first came out. But my little brother and sister got one for their birthdays, and my opinion of it changed. It’s a pretty cool concept and the games they have for it (i.e. Resident Evil: Umbrella chronicles) are fun!

P.S. is Civ Revolution coming out for the Wii?
