Love you're doing this!
I don't know if the Tectonic map, that many of us play, on saves state, but that should be useful in generating the fault lines for (most) earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis. You'd still have the off "hotspot" (super) volcanoes, but they're pretty randomly distributed.

Are you going to switch to CP Events? Just curious as it appears to be more stable.
I'm pretty sure that CP:E actually already incorporates several natural disaster events natively, at least I can recall Hurricanes and Eruptions in my latest game trialling it.
It does, which has somewhat demotivated me to continue work on this.
Join us! We could use more events, especially more interesting disasters and natural occurrences.
I might do just that, though I have to give it some thought, as I've put a lot of hours into this, so it also has a sentimental value for me.
The CP system has lua hooks for event connectivity built into it, so the transition from E&D to this is easier than it looks. JFD could probably give you some pointers.
Yup, happy to help as needed.
Is there any progress with this mod or is it abounded?
