Update 2 - December 31, 20 AC.
Asia
The Pacific Falls
Capitalist Australia has abandoned their attempts of Madagascarian colonization in order to expand its bases throughout the pacific. Their forces have easily crushed opposition on the small islands and established control throughout the Marshals. The more surprising islands that Australia captured were that of Hawaii. Hawaii put up the largest fight of any other islands, but it too fell. Australia has expanded itself across the Pacific. The Communist Australians are condemning these acts of imperialism, but many suspect it to be party rhetoric.
In other Australian news, a Maglev system is put in place between all the major cities. A new social security system is passed. Also large Koala reserves are set up. The economy expands.

Korean War!
The Communists and Japanese continue to advance on Korea after 6 long months of more fighting. In the north, the Koreans utilized mountains in order to gain the defensive edge. The mountains proved decisive at first, however Japanese and Communist aircraft began to rain destruction down on the Korean defenders. Demoralized and crippled, the Koreans finally were pushed out of the mountains in early November. The Korean defenders retreated to the port city of Hamhung. Japanese forces drove harder and faster than the Communists, and were able to effectively cut them off from the front making this basically a Japan only war. Hamhung has come under heavy artillery and ariel bombardment, but because of the Japanese policy of warning the population before the attack, little military casualties have been seen.
In the south the Japanese had a difficult problem for a different reason. Partisans began to spring up in Pusan and the surrounding area. Along with small military forces launching raids, the Japanese are tasked first to rid themselves of the nuisances. It would take several months, but by early November as well, the southern force had begun the offensive once more. By now Seoul had been under heavy coastal bombardment in hopes to force the Koreans to surrender, it hasnt worked. The Japanese have also begun the bombardment of Suwon south of Seoul. Korea has fully mobilized its military and has called upon thousands of Koreans to rise up, and have mostly been answered. The Koreans continue to whisk away their economy into the war and have plunged into recession.

Israeli Border calms down
As Israeli forces move back from the border so do Arab forces. It seems war has been averted for now
Arabian War Heightens!
The UAE military stalled for a month to regroup and reorganize. Saudi forces used this time to continue to build up forces. The UAE built up a decoy invasion force in the east which the Saudis mistakenly bombed for no point, losing several fighters to SAMs. This was just a ploy as on July 28th, a campaign was launched against the Saudis in the west. The attack was a stunning success, capturing almost 1/3 of all Saudi forces in a pocket in Mecca and Jedah. UAE forces then pressed on until they were forced to stop by the Medina defense forces. Bitter fighting than erupted over Jedah before it fell into UAE hands. No offensive has been launched against Mecca however with almost 1/4 of the Saudi military trapped inside. Military supplies from Egypt and ISCA have helped keep the battle even. Iraqi dictator Syed Ali has proclaimed his army will move to help the Saudis, though many suspect an under the table deal was made to prompt this.

Trouble in Abyssinia
With the rise of Judaism as an upcoming religion in Abyssinia several groups have begun complaining. Roughly 1% of the population was Jewish not just a year ago. However, aggressive missionary work has begun and so far an additional 1% has swelled the ranks. Although Islam is still the leading religion with over 50% the population and Christianity with over 39% both groups feel threatened. Rumors have spread that the current head of state is under the sway of the Chief Rabbi and as such the entire nation under Jewish control. His has sparked riots in Muslim Somalia and Christian Uganda alike. They are asking that the government stop the missionary work of the Jews otherwise face some serious problems. Several strict conservative Jews have also seen this as a problem as they believe the religion is meant only for the rightful chosen people and not ever person who wishes to join. Many of them have not seen the conversions, which have been speedy compared to traditional practices, as legitimate.

South Africa Expands
South Africa has continued its goal of uniting all of southern Africa. However resistance has continued to rise against them and is must fiercer than last time. The Zimbabwe warlords who they fight now have united more compared to the Mozambique warlords of earlier this year. They have however mostly fallen. Two warlords remain with control of the cities of Bulawayo in the south and Harare in the north. Both have been preparing for urban combat and are ready to try and fight to the last.
Using the South African expansion, Malawi is able to convince further warlords to join their cause around the lake. The Mozambique warlords of the cities of Nacala and Quelimane are only too happy to join with Malawi. It seems with these new additions, along with military and civilian refugees coming in from Zimbabwe have swelled the Malawi military to twice its size from just 6 months ago.

Russo-Baltic War Continues!
After an agreement is reached with Russia to move their forces out of the Baltic on July 12th, the Russians renew their offensive just 3 days later! The Baltic Federation rapidly mobilized its economy, sacrificing some, to train over 120,000 troops into the streets and over 200 fighter pilots into the air. Most of the fighters seemed to be a century old with names like Mig-23." The Russian air force however seems to preoccupied flying sorties over NEF and the old aircraft with bad pilots actually begin to do some harm to the invading Russians.
The Russian still down on the Baltic areas and the capital and on July 23 the breach the defenses and assault Riga directly. House-to-house fighting ensues and casualties begin to mount on both sides. By August 1, the city however has almost fallen to the Russians with the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius looking like the same fate. An NEF relief force of 10 divisions quickly stop the Russians as Vilnius. Combined with the remains of the Baltic forces there, they begin to push the Russian back. The Russians now exhausted and outnumbered retreat out of the Baltic without higher orders.
In the north however, the Russians are fully capable of succeeding in their strategy. With overwhelming numbers, the Russians soon bear down on the Finnish defenders forcing some 13,000 to surrender in Oulu on August 3rd. Helsinki would fall just a week later. Russian forces have swept through Scandinavia and have begun assaulting NEF forces in Sweden. Fighting there has bogged down at Falun where the NEF has mounted a defensive line. Several pockets of Baltic forces also remain in Scandinavia though they are of no real threat to Russian forces beyond harassment.
The air battle over NEF Poland has proven to be a standstill. The NEF has kept large portions of its air force to secure its other borders while leaving a sizable force to face the Russians. The Russians however outnumbered the force by 100 planes. Only the NEF use of SAM sites along with their superior training and aircraft have kept them at a standstill.

Americas
Central America Falls
The combined efforts of the ESA, Mexico and Greater Columbia have defeated the warlords of Central America. Not all is well however as many forces continue to fight against all three from the jungle. Greater Columbia has taken the worst hit than the other two as they occupy the largest area population wise.

SCA on the move
The Southern Cross Alliance has taken it upon themselves to rid South America of the various Amazonian warlords. Thousands of SCA cross into the jungle with bombers napalming any areas believed to be under warlord control. SCA forces have presently bogged down some in the north, but have made huge gains in the south. Military analysts fear the new strategic positions the SCA have taken with the elimination of dozens of warlords.
