Nice update... question - how good are our communications? I remember you saying something about some nation that only knows Abyssinia...

could this be the start of a great war just 2-3 turns in? O_O

It better be. Its very interesting anyway. Sadly, Israel will have to sit it out, being unable to attack anyone in Europe... sigh...

No, it's the other way around. Kenya only knows Abyssinia because they're isolationist.

Wait. So I DON'T know Abyssinia?

I mean the only nation Kenya knows is abyssinia. I misplaced the 'only' in that sentance. Fixed =D

Uh, yes. But what about other communications?

You are laughable! Infact, I will laugh. Ha ha ha ha ha HA! Your unprovoked attack of the Baltics and untrustworthiness to keep a treaty are looked down upon. You are not to be trusted.

The gavel came down and the room suddenly became completely quiet. A pin was heard dropping in the distance on what sounded to be a pillow. The first meeting of the Abysinian Council was called to order. The Council elections had gone as planed despite the governmental change. The King's former party (he had to resign from the party upon taking the throne), the Abyssinian Rebirth Part, won the Abysinian home territories, as well as Eritrea and Djibouti. Western Somalia as well as north-eastern Uganda were easily won by the ARP also. Most of the rest of Somalia was won by the Muslim Somali Party for Abyssinia, while the majority of the rest of Uganda was won by the Christian Abysinian Party for Uganda. These two parites were basically religion specific, ethnic specific, versions of the ABR, except for their stance against the institution of Judaism by the King. These results contradicted everything the political annylists had forcasted after the rioting in the outer provinces. But that just goes to show how much the news media loves to over-exagerate. The job o fthe council today was to elect a Prime Minister. After much debate the decision came down to Sabe Atsene, a Djiboutan who had held an important position in the Treasury Office of the Earth Federation before the collapse. The meating was held in the old government building in Addis Abbaba since the new one being constructed in Aksum had been postponed since the warlords to the west of the country had not yet replied and the progress of the soldiers was not yet know. As the day ended, the Representatives retired to their hotel rooms in Addis Abbaba to get some well deserved sleep.
Meanwhile in Aksum....
King Menilik III became bored waiting for the Council to adjourn and decided to take a nap. As he was about to lay down he suddenly got an idea. He decided to revive The Order of King Solomon as an elite force of Abyssinian soldiers. He immediately called in his military advisor to discuss how his ingenious idea would be carried out.

Unique Unit: Knights of the Order of King Solomon- whenever they win a battle all of the King's decisions become more popular among all people

My dear Madeleine,

I am sorry for the length of time that has passed between this writing and my last. Our unit has been constantly redeployed, and we are now in <censored>. It seems as if a massive buildup has begun, but you may have already heard this on the nightly news. We have finally settled in and prepare ourselves for the coming battles.

The spirits of high, and it feels much like a fairgrounds here than a staging area. Many, including me, are not afraid to fight. Some even want to enjoy the experience. It is said that the army of the NEF is invincible, and death forsakes us. Well if we are the forsaken, then let it be and we will fight like forsaken men with no afterlife to take us!

Enough about the war. How are things are home? Is Greg still the rascal that he is? I miss home. I miss the cobblestone streets. I miss the luscious grasslands. I miss the smell of the marketplace. I miss the games of soccer we had in the streets. I miss the restaurant with the little flowers adorning it. I miss the walks we use to have along the river. I miss you.

In the coming weeks I might not be able to write to you, but please write to me. I want to hear your thoughts and listen to your voice reading the letters inside me. I will send home a souvenir, a Russian officer's sidearm if I can.

With love,
Hans

Prime Minister George Yera Chuckled a dark laugh.

The original Keepers of democracy, the Europeans had just backstabbed each other. He felt further empowered by this turn of events that Eurpoeans should NOT be allowed onto the Arfican continent. Only a fair democracy by africans for africans could be allowed to prevail. As was shown by the australian attempt to colonise madagascar, Only his strong diplomatic stance over Madagascar had prevailed. With Australia Meekly backing down. A victory.

Closer to home his policies on enlighting the African Warlords were continuing. Two warlords remained in control of the cities of Bulawayo in the south and Harare in the north. Both were preparing for urban combat and are readdy for his forces. George smiled, They would starve first, noble gestures from the soldiers ready to die for their lords. But rather pointless. A small force could contain them.

What insulted him though was the Mawali insistance to Not democrotise. Force would have to be used. It was his duty to the people. not to mention the large threat they posed for him.

A plan was being prepared.

To: The Warlords of Madagascar
From: His Majesty, King Menilik of Abyssinia, Bearer of the Crowns of Solomon and Sheba

We propose that we help Madagascar establish a united nation so that they not be swallowed by the ever-advancing armies of their southern neighbors on the continent and colonizers from overseas. All that we ask in exchange is the port of Diego-Suarez at the northern tip of the island.
