hmm...Centurions and Leopard II - seems the Swedes know a good tank when they see it:)

Best hercules version there is ;)

About previous posts - looking at these tanks shows how lucky europe is not to be in any war lately... :D

Edit: How embarrasing... Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? here's the link: [url ]http://members.shaw.ca/stanryker/test01/test01minigun.htm[/url ]

I "disabled" your tags by adding a space.
The problem is that you are trying to use the "IMG" image tag to look at a web page. Which is why the second one works - .htm will work with the "URL" tag.

What you need to know is the graphic name and location for the picture. Looking at the html source for the page concerned - which links to a bunch of stupid popups when I click on the minigun, by the way - the filename for the image is
"http://members.shaw.ca/stanryker/test01/test01minigun.jpg"
I tested it by pasting that into the browser and get the picture.
So now I type into the post:
[IMG ]http://members.shaw.ca/stanryker/test01/test01minigun.jpg[/IMG ]
and voila
test01minigun.jpg

OK, let me try that again:

Edit: Cool! Thanks, Mad Scot

This is the greatest thing ever!

A baby Tiger!
I want one as a pet!

:goodjob:

All together now; "Awwwwww! Ain't it cute!"

If I can't get the real thing I want one of these!
:D

Awwwwww...

Needs a car battery to run, I see. Is the turret remotely maneuverable? I can't make out the controls well enough.

Uh oh! The pictures went wrong!

Hey, Curt, do you have any pics and data of some of the missile projects of the Germans. I saw a program on Discovery Channel about this long-range missile they were designing - it was to be able to hit mainland US from France... But I forgot its name, and need it to convince my friend that it's possible. So I thought, you're into the German weapons development, do you by any chance have pics or info? Also, what happened to their "submarine-launched-missiles" plans?
Thanks in advance, I trust you, Enemy Ace! :goodjob:

If might be so bold as to reply anyway...

Here are some simple schematics of the A3/A4/A5 family of rockets, the A4 being the V-2:

And here are a couple of sketches of the A9-A10 long range rocket proposal, which I suspect is what you refer to, as it is said that it could have reached the eastern seaboard "with uprated rockets":

Ah, yes, the A-9/A-10, that's the one I heard about. Thanks, MadScot, that's what I needed! :goodjob:

This man is a wonder of destruction!

This is the remarkable Luftwaffe pilot, Hans-Ulrich Rudel.
As a Stuka pilot he flew thousands of missions and became the worlds most high-scoring tank buster.

He was not a nazi, but a dedicated and skilled pilot. I can respect that!

You can read about this exceptional air warrior here...
