Wonders of Destruction 2

And finally for now, a mixed collection:

Eurofighter 2000 (now 'Typhoon'):

Tornado ADV:

and Shorts Tucano:

And for those suggesting the latter is not a 'Wonder of Destruction'; well, perhaps not. But all those wonder-flying pilots have to learn somehow! :)

Ahh, the Wonders of Destruction 2 has resurrected! :goodjob:

This here is the greatest jet aircraft yet built by man, the Russian Su-37:

Superior to Western planes in maneuverability, and their equal in stealth techniques, speed, price!

su37_02.jpg

It can perform aerial maneuvres that no Western plane could ever dream of trying. The manufacturer has issued an open challenge to any aircraft to contest against it. Nobody has yet dared...

Now this is true art! :goodjob:

Yet it can't evade a Derby!

That picture is of Shorts-built Tucanos, used by the RAF. The original design was/is Brazilian, but there were some mods made for the RAF.

Thanks for informing me, MadScot.

Hey, Mikoyan, do you have any nice pictures of "Gripen"? :cooool: :D

Will it be adequate to compete with aircraft such as the F-22, JSF, Eurofighter, and Su-37? If it will, then I'm amazed a single rather small country such as Sweden is able to maintain an aircraft industry without having intolerable prices or low queality...

Well, the Gripen project was finished earlier than all those mentioned in your post, but it is small, lightweight and has a good payload capacity and can be suited for many missions, it is also cheaper than all planes you mentioned, and currently is competing with the EF-2000 and the F-16, and has already been sold to South Africa and the Czech Republic. It is a good alternative for countries who seek a great non-stealth fighter with a light pricetag.

Nothing compares 2 u:

What's with that Rusty battleship Darkshade?
One small precise missile and it falls apart ;)

Unless your small precise missile has a tac nuke on the tip, you'd better think more on the lines of "lots and lots of very big very nasty missiles". That "rusty battleship" was designed to take repeated impacts from supersonic projectiles weighing a ton or more each; one puny missile isn't going to do jack unless it gets one hell of a lucky hit. Perhaps you are hoping to fly it down the smokestack??

Ice Blaze, stick to working on the kibbutz and don't talk about things you know not. :p ;)

Madscot - Quite correct. Add in the defences of a SAG, as well as Phalanx, and even the basic 1980s model was better defended than any other vessel afloat.

Nice one Mikoyan!

How the mighty robot eagle fell...embarrasing!

Here is one of the workhorses of WW2, The Opel Blitz Truck...

Simon, that battleship image stirs my heart with pride!

:goodjob:

Just for the heck of it, the most feared tank of WW2, the powerful Tiger!!!
