English words most often start with 'S' and never with 'X'
That is, from the list of answers. List of allowed guesses contains several words starting with X (xerox, xenia, xenon, etc.)
4-th letter is disproportionally more frequent 'E' and never 'Q' (that's from the list of answers as well)
5-th letter is most often 'E' or 'Y', and never 'J', 'Q' or 'V'
Examples of such words from the list of valid guesses:
['aflaj', 'basij', 'falaj'], ['qajaq', 'talaq', 'tranq', 'umiaq'], ['ganev', 'ollav', 'parev', 'schav']
In Russian version, the words never start with 'Й', 'Ъ', 'Ы', 'Ь', 'Ё'

The game I am using in Russian doesn't even contain all the proper word lists! It doesn't know the plural of the word "seals" and some other not so common ones.
Seals, тюлени? It's 6-letter...

Нерпы according to google translate. Maybe this "Russian" game just uses a standard google vocabulary. Like many "Russian" programs.

Yesterday my brother introduced me to Absurdle ( https://qntm.org/files/absurdle/absurdle.html ), which is similar to Wordle except that it changes the secret word on you as needed to keep you from winning. The object of the game is therefore to force it into staying with a word (especially a word of your choice) rather than to guess the word it has picked.
I decided that I would try to force it to have the same word as Wordle each day, so today after playing Wordle (4 words to win) and learning the secret word, I played Absurdle. After only 16 guesses I forced it to pick it. I did have to use two takebacks, one because apparently there are at least two words in the word list that use the same letters as today's Wordle word. We'll see how it goes tomorrow.

Today's took me all 6 guesses: confirmed the last 2 (really common) letters on my first try, ruled out nearly half the alphabet on the next two, and then had to figure out what I was supposed to do with the mess of middling to rare consonants I was left with. Though I found 2 more letters with the fourth guess (which I was actually surprised was valid), my fifth attempt still misplaced both of them. Of course that made the actual secret word shin-kickingly "why the F didn't you try this one first?" obvious...

9 tries for the first game, 8 for the second. I think I can cut quite a lot more with more strategic choices.
Edit : 6 guesses with that new take. It's fun but it's much more prone to being solved due to somewhat controlable behavior. Just get rid of all the common letters first, and it drastically reduces the amount of possible choices later.

This is a fun game for anyone who loves the word game Scrabble. I use the scores assigned to letter in Scrabble to guide me when making choices for Wordle.
There are 10 letters in Scrabble that score only 1 point because they are considered most common: A,E,I,L,N,O,R,S,T,and U. Of those, ETAON stand out as being most common. So I use words that have at least 4 letters from that list of 10 and at least 2 vowels preferably 3. And I usually use 8 or more of those 10 letter in my first 2 guesses. I've turned on hard mode but it's not strict about where you put your yellow and green letters as long as they are there in each guess.
Starters that I like:
