Did both days' Wordle and Quordle over the weekend on my mini-tablet (AKA my smartphone, because I still need a new SIM card!), got them in 5+4 and 7+9, respectively, but wasn't on CFC at the time to record my victories (plus I hate typing on the tiny touch-keyboard anyway!).

Today's Wordle I got in 4. Could have been 3, but I was having fun. Almost NSFW, don't judge me...

Quordle I got in 7, but the last solution had me scratching my head because given what I had left, the only possibility I could think of was a word that I wouldn't have expected to see on their list (I guess it's kinda legit as slang, but is it even still used like that...?)

Got the Wordle in 2 today on a total fluke Second time in 5 days I got a lucky 2!

CHURN - still using this one at least once a week
SHINE - there were many choices still at this point but I liked this one

the last time I used CHURN it was a yellow R and green N, so I saw eliminating T,A,I with TRAIN as a good idea, and, whaddaya know? (see Wordle for May 4)

I like to use the daily Wordle answer as my first guess in Quordle, as long as it doesn't have repeat letters

Wordle damn near defeated me today. It took me 5 guesses to whittle down all the possible consonants or consonant-combos. And even then it still took me a good couple of minutes to see the solution...

Then I used the Wordle solution as one of my Quordle starters, as much as anything as an exercise to find two others that would still test at least 15 letters. And again, one of the solutions (actually the first that I tackled) was originally non-English... (4/5/7/9)

Using one of yesterday's Quordle solutions as a Wordle starter, and Hard mode, I needed all 6 guesses today. My 4th guess was poor though, since it only tested 2 new letters: with hindsight, I could have used a different word that still tested those 2 letters plus a third, and then I would have got the answer in five

Managed Wordle in 4, but should have been 3.
Quordle in 5/6/8/9, but was lucky.

Could have gone with PASTE instead of WASTE and with....er.... forgot, I had used BRAVE before, but there was another one which would have fit.
YOUNG as a word is a female dog though.

After my three starters today, I knew every word in Quordle, having all the letters with 1-3 green in each word. However, in Qwordle I knew only 6 of the 10 letters. At least I had 3 in the right spot. My fourth letter-gathering word got me 3 more letters, though, with one in the right spot, after which I managed to come up with the solution. The two words seem to have a connection each day, though I haven't managed to turn this into something helpful. So far, it hasn't been necessary.

Today's Wordle was an unspectacular par-four for me. I could have got it in three, but the solution didn't occur to me quickly enough (I was so close, though!). TBH, I'm a little surprised that my third guess was on the list of allowed guesses...

I did something pretty similar to what you did, but my third guess had a different first letter (and likewise, I was a little surprised it was an allowed guess)

Used the same starter in Quordle, anagramming what was left of my previous starters to make 2 new words. This actually gave me 5 greens for my first solution, 3 greens plus 1 yellow for my second, 2 greens plus 1 yellow for the third, and 4 yellows for the fourth, making today's a fairly easy run (6/4/7/5)
