workaround for alt tab functionality

I haven't seen any threads on this, But I personally cannot alt-tab out of the game. I can, but it takes several tries, with several different key combinations, and the one that usually does it is ctrl-esc, and then I only get the taskbar However if you check window mode but leave it at your normal fullscreen res, for me it makes it fullscreen still, and I have alt-tab functionality. I still see the civ game screen as my desktop, but I have better access to other progs/browser. Hope that help

Scratch all of that, after 30 or so turns it actually went to windowed mode, with the bar on top then I couldn't refuse a secrecy pact because my taskbar was blocking the last option...oh well...no CIV at work hehe...

I noticed something similar. In actuality, I found I had to hold the keys for a few seconds to give the computer time to bring up the small icons. This resolved my issue the majority of the time. It still takes a second attempt on occasions though.
