Worker Promotions.

I was thinking this morning, what about promotions for workers? Technically, there are wonders/civics which indirectly do such a thing. But I was wondering about specific workers.

Some examples that I thought would be...

After X amount of improvements promotion for faster % builds for that worker allowed.

After X amount of road tiles, road-master promotion avail...

And then we have chop promotions, etc...

Oh well, maybe that's too much management for some to worry about, but it could all be auto-assigned anyhow.


If the next expansion to come out had this, I suppose more people would be happy about it than not?
 
It sounds like a good idea to me. However, I can't think of any other promotions for workers but I'm sure some creative genius out there can think of several more.
 
How would they get experience.
 
I guess (like obsolete said) after they build enough improvements.

I just got an idea. What about Great Workers and Great Improvements? Great Workers could build improvements faster, increase worker productivity for 10 turns or so, or build a Great Improvement that is basically a normal improvement with more Food/ Hammers/ Commerce. Any thoughts?

that is a good question, but also this only affect the most in marathorn games anyway and barely help workers in quick games.

A greate worker has ben born in nidaros. he sleps and sleps... then after a two milenniums he wake up and make that well, so he come to good us i meen. many workerturns there.
 
Random Event!!

All workers gain free RailRoad-Master promotion.
 
Terraforming doesnt make sense in this game. Floodplains beats grassland beats plains, there is no happy mix for different purposes. And we can already make our own hills with workshops as it is.
