Hi elfangor801,

My e-mail and username are registered, but I don't have a password. Could you send me one? Thanks

I just played a fast game on a modified Superpowers as teh Germans. I think that the only way you'll make it playable is to get rid of all the victory points in the uninhabited areas. Countries like Germany/France can't reach them, while the Islamic Countires, China, and the US can, making me lose very quickly to them.
I know what you mean, like the victory locations in Africa and South East Asia that are no longer occupied at the start of the scenario. Next time just turn off victory point scoring in the editor before loading a new game. I think there are a couple of different options in the editor that need to be changed to fix this. Othervise you can just manually delete the victory locations on the map in the editor. I will keep this in mind for future releases. :goodjob:

Except for my last post, I've been feeling kinda useless......World 2004 has had most/all of the bugs ironed out, and I'm really bad with computers, so I can't help with World 2005........ :(

But that's the problem: it never sends me a password. Thanks anyway, elfangor801.

Great game! I'll be glad when 1.2 goes public, then I will get it for all the fixes for the full game. My problem is that I can't get the Apache to move. I have checked the settings in the Edit, and it is marked for "land" like the other attack copters. Movement is set at 3, yet it will not move in the game. When I verify its settings against the other attack copters that do work in the game, the Apache's settings seem fine. Am I missing something to make the Apache work??

hey elfangor801 i was playing today and i couldn't upgrade my F-15s to F-22s  i had all the requirements but for some reason it wouldn't upgrade. you said this problem was fixed in v1.2 but for some reason it has reappeared. Other than that most of the bugs have been dealt with :goodjob:

Maciek does come here once in a while, but not logged in. Do what you please, but if you do, make sure the patch is linked as well.

To fix the Helicopters you need to make sure that the Move To box is checked, and then they will move correctly. To avoid reloading the scenario the helocopters will move with the number pad keys.

As for aircraft upgrades, make sure that Airports have the Produce Veteran Units box checked. Also make sure that the F-15 has the Upgrade Unit box checked, and that the F-15 is supposed to upgrade to the F-22.

go to the Mil-Sim.net and click the download tab. then click World 2004 link and download the World 2004 v1.1 and v1.1 Media Pack.

Is the 1.2 going to be released soon? I still get errors when opening the Civpedia. I changed the files as someone said way back on page 10 or soemthing but now I'm getting errors when it looks for bmp1 after I changed it the .txt file to bmp3 on the lines he said...

If 1.2 isn't going to be released for awhile because you don't want the work plagarized or whatever, maybe we could get a 1.11 version that corrects the Apaches and these other errors?

And am I missing something? I can't seem to load troops into the assault ships or the transport airplanes... I've tried armor, infantry, and just kept going down in size but nothing seems to load for me...

Thanks for the scenario. Looks nice. Hoping I get to give it a try here soon...

What do you mean by kept going down in size?

And did you ever get the BMP thing to work right? My directions on page 10 to fix this worked for everyone else.

EDIT: It's on page 12 ;)

I THINK so, yes, on the BMP problem. I haven't played too much with this scenario since I seem to be having difficulties loading units onto transports and cargo planes. I assume it's just something I'm doing wrong.

I mean that I tried first loading an armor unit but thought that maybe the Assault Ships and/or cargo planes couldn't carry that type of unit, so I tried an infantry unit to no avail and then tried a worker, etc... Like I said, I assume it's just something I'm doing wrong, but I can't seem to 'load' a unit and in the case of the Assault Ship (I might have the unit name incorrect HERE but I checked the cargo space in the naval transport unit and it said 4 so you probably know the one I mean) I tried having it offshore and rolling a unit into it but that didn't work either...

The Assault Ship should be able to transport 2 Foot units. It will not take tanks. Regular infantry should work though, because they are classifies as a foot unit. How familiar are you with the Conquests Editor that came with the game?

i have been unsuccessful downloading the scenario. i log into milsim, click downloads, world 2004 v1.1, download, and it dumps me out to the fileplanet, "you have not logged in" page. shouldn't it just download right from milsim? thanks for the help.
