Weird bug....Ever since I downloaded this, in ever game I've played, my person has been named Tony Blair......

Yes, that's a known bug, it's fixed in the Reduced Version.

ANNOUCEMENT: SOMETIME TODAY, THIS THREAD WILL BE CHANGED TO WORLD 2004, NOT EXCELLENT MODERN WORLD SCENARIO.

Think of the Reduced version as the trailor for v1.2 ;-). Sit tight! Everyone found this okay, right, I had the name changed.

If I made all of these changes to the full version, I would have had to make it version 1.2, and it's not my scenario. So I just made a modified/reduced version to work out some of the bugs, and hopefully not piss of the creators. However when it comes time to release a version 1.2, I will try to make sure my corrections get put in it.

But what if something happens in 2005? Like, what if some country that no one has ever heard of suddenly declares war on everyone else in the name of their glorius leader, who by some strange coincidence has a name extremely similar to my screename...

Well, that's possible, and the US is pretty close to invading Mexico at this point, watch out for that, too.

US are going to invade mexico? Why? i thought they would just push for a a tighter superstate which NAFTA is the 1st step for. BTW i see nafta as been similar to EU in terms of where its headed for.

just out of interest, how come's india has such a tiny military, most of the cities are devoid of troops forcing one to draft partisans and hope there is no civil unrest next turn!

you'd think that a nation which holds nearly a sixth of the world's population would have a larger military than the game implies.

Most countrue's cities are devoid of military troops in this game. Which makes it so much easier to launch an invasion.

Naturally, I can't find it. Well, anyway, the reason for that, is that one tank in the game represents, and correct me if I'm wrong, Kpimm, 500 existing real tanks. And a lot of countries don't have 500 tanks. So we have to make do with that, otherwise there'd be hundreds (If not thousands) more units on the map.

Actually, everyone says different things on what they represent. Some say 50, some 100, but 500 is the largest I've ever heard.

I would, but I haven't moved up from Warlord. I've been planning too, but all my games right now are taking longer than I thought, and I don't like to move up when I haven't beaten my previos games. Also, I have no idea how to play democracy games.
