It's this kind of assumption that gets to me. TV weathermen do the same thing when they refer to such a nice day we're having and how we luckily missed out on the snow that went north of the city.
Some people actually love winter, love snow, and don't feel bleak during it. Frankly, this unseasonably warm and sunny January that we're having is what is making me cranky. I miss my cold and snow that we should be having this time of year.
Oh, I don't doubt that at all. If I didn't love Missouri so much, I'd move to Alaska or Maine or somewhere with lots of snow throughout much of the year.
I love cloud cover, especially right before the rain. (so it is evily dark. )
But, I don't like rain much, because it is wet. And I don't like sunny weather because happy weather makes me sad. Thus, optimum weather for me is right before a thunderstorm.
