Worst neighbour for me is always the one who attacks me after I've attacked the closest neighbour

TBH, I think that Bismarck is the most difficult to opose, but maybe it's just what it happened in my games.

THe worst neighbour is Alex if you don't let him DOW on you and kill his army. He can REX, sprawl and conquer as no one else can, it's just amazing .

Siam, America, Iroquois, Russia and Songhai. Very expansive, and frequently prone to wardec after they build a city right next to you, and then blame you for expanding towards them.

Given the option, I kill or cripple them as early as possible. If not, any border near them gets filled with defensive troops, and i try to build the great wall to give me time to siege them down.

Yes, I was Egypt.
There was no random personalities setting though. Elizabeth conquered Rammy (Yes, just one nation!) and she was about to crush me before I won a space victory. She was very militaristic and expansive throughout - she conquered most of the city states!

Isn't Newcastle one of the first on the city list? It looks like she may have popped a settler early and grew from both the north and the south at the same time. Just Curious.

He also started in the Industrial Era. So everyone starts out with like 3 or 4 settlers instead of 1.

Napoleon. The only Civ to actually to able to totally surround me by simply founding Cities.

Askia, England and Siam. On my current game, they're all massive juggernaughts! I'm glad my civ is on an isolated continent all by itself.

Askia has just gobbled up Rome and China, and is now in control of an entire continent. Elizabeth is popping out wonders left right and center and has just destroyed the Mongols and Aztecs, and Siam is a huge yellow splotch that has just annexed all of Arabia.

I am far ahead in science though and have 4 uranium reserves, so I'll spam GDRs later on and kill them all.
