Would you date an opposite sex clone of yourself?

The clone would be exactally like you, though not with the same exact life expriences (you could program in similar memories I suppose) except a female version of you (or male if you're female or gay).

Your clone would be of the same height and similar weight to you but would be most definitely of the opposite sex (very distanctly feminine or masculine) and as attractive as you are.

So, would you go for it?

No, it would be like incest. Besides, even if she is the opposite sex, the face would probably reveal that we're both cloned from the same person. Probably it would have been made clear early in the dating process and the relationship would be terminated or change character.

This dilemma is old, as you could meet a half sister without first knowing that you share the same parent. I don't think anyone would date their half sister and a clone is genetically closer.

People who meet an unknown opposite-sex half-sibling or sibling fall in love with them remarkable often.

I'm somewhat skeptical that a clone of me could be very distinctly feminine without enough genetic tampering to make the use of the word "clone" suspect, but I wouldn't have any ethical problem with dating one. Now, wether I'd be attracted to her, I don't know.
