Maybe it has something to do with Eclipse being the launcher? I am fine with using PBEM tracker for this game.

The good news is it sounds like its not a LOR issue so we can still use that possibly.

I can launch the game if you guys want, I've done it without issue for other games.

I'll wait for Eclipses blessing since he's our leader for this undertaking...

I don't think that will help. It will still be the same save.

Although something similar happened which turned out to be something to do with one players service provider. It was doing something to the attachments that caused this sort of thing to happen. I think he opened a new online email account with gmail and it was OK after that.

I'll zip up the save and send it again, see if that makes a difference.

Should I set us up a game on PBEM tracker? If its truly an email issue then using the tracker could fix the problems. Knoedel is using the tracker with us in another game out there with both eclipse and I and it has worked without issue...

King Dick had reported that he had been using "Thunderbird" as an email client, changing to a different email client solved the issue

LoR is prefered but BTS is also ok

Can you launch BTS and load up the LoR Mod

Create a "New PBEM Game" and set yourself up a couple of slots, the goal here is to be able to load the next player turn after saving the first turn

This is an option we could use but typing GPS here

If Imp's mod loads a game of his own and it works, we know its email related and the best fix for this is to go to the tracker because his email is probably his important email address that works for everything else.

Did the "zip" work always delete old sav file, make a shortcut on you desktop like I have to get to them

Nope, it didn´t work with the other e-mail-address either, so let´s try PBEM-Tracker, I have no problems using that for the Gm18bnoE game.

Ok gang - I set up the game in PBEM tracker. I will need all 4 of you to join the game, then I can hit "launch" and then whoever has the turn to send to Knoedel can upload it.

Do a search for "Writing in Gunpowder" in PBEM tracker. The password is "guns"

If this doesn't work, I will try launching a new plain old BTS game myself and send to knoedel and we can see if that works.

Go to www.PBEMtracker.com. Sign up quickly and easily (and free) and then do a search for the game. pw is "guns"
