WW1 Real Time or PBEM

The problem would be that I only have end turn saves so I can't check...

"Can someone tell me how russia can capture 13 artillery without killing 2 MP's and how does it work that these arties can move more than 1 tile without a road or rail (between the artie pos and Bucharest are 2 tiles and no road)?"

This is what I don't understand, how can a city being captured this turn be an issue as surely it must have been captured several turns ago for us all to be playing the wrong turn... I also can't see how I played the wrong save as the Italian fleet was only in range this turn and I must have saved the game as week 43 for the next player to be able to open the game. Also how did several players not notice that they were attacking the same units... I'm confused and not too happy about the prospect of running quite a lot of naval battles...

EDIT ... coome to think of it, Dell posted that some British shipping in the Adriatic had been sunk but when playing, all British shipping seemed to be present and correct, ie no losses .....

It should have just been 1 sub... Besides can't you just check the week number actually in the game to check whether it is the right save? Going to send the save again so that you can check the two.

Considerable naval engagements this turn.

Initial combat saw the destruction of 3 destroyers, 1 submarine, 1 floating mine and 1 submarine (British) for the loss of 2 destroyers.

This is the post i'm talking about ... maybe I just misunderstand it but it suggests more than 1 sub.

If memory serves, the save week and ingame week did match up which is what makes this so strange

Everything else in that list is Italian except for the one sub with (British) next to it...

It does take awhile for ships to heal in this scenario...at least I am pretty sure that it takes more than one week. Regardless, please get this figured out soon as I have not played this PBEM for over a week (last Wednesday was the last time I had it!). And this moved so well at the start... Anyways, hopefully we get things figured out...the main thing is SENDING THE RIGHT TURNS...which I did accidentally send the wrong turn one time...and make sure to save them with the correct week according to what is on the display!

Well I'm pretty sure that I did send the correct save... Wondering how the save could have possibly gotten to Italy without someone realising that it was the wrong turn.

Ok ... the save Dell resent is the same save I was sent before.

I have had a good look at it ... the save date is the same as the ingame date. The confusion surrounding combat losses has now been cleared up ... I would seem to be missing a submarine which I now understand to be my only loss. BK's information on naval healing would also fit in ... my ships appear to have partially healed whereas I expected them to totally heal.

In short, I don't see how this could possibly be the wrong save. I have resent my played file to Detlef incase the mistake is at his end ... if he confirms that the resend is the same as the file he just played and sent, then the problem must be at Music Theory's end.

Are we any further forward on the incorrect file situation ?

Until Detlef responds (which he is has been the slowest to do so in this scenario) we are going to be waiting since I am guessing that he simply sent the wrong save confusing the actual time with the named save time because i have done that myself...hopefully everyone figures it out soon and is able to send it onward to me!!!

Well you know I would be more then happy to play this turn again. LOL. j/k I'm sure Austria would object after sending ALL of my heavy ships to the bottom.

Doesn't look like we will need to luckily...

Prolly opened the wrong one by accident. I just wish we had resolved that a bit quicker ;p

...need my fix haha

So music just has to go and I will finally be getting the turn... My first moves in a week and a half!!!

I have played and sent.

Italy Report: Just minor fleet and troop movement. 1 sub lost attempting to avenge the destruction of the main fleet. No Austrian losses.

1914 Week 44 (15th week of the war, 4th week of October)

The German Military had only one engagement to report the past week as they continued to fortify lines awaiting the continuing of the British Offensive.

-Southwest of Metz:
3 Railguns bombarded while Falkenhayn's 4th Corps def. Neville's Corps (Fr).

-South of Metz:
2 210 MM Artillery bombarded and injured the French soldiers.

Needless to say, it would be nice to get to play my next turn a little bit faster than the last cycle took!

Bad news...

Russia took tremendous losses this week, possibly the worst in its history in this conflict: 10 cossacks and a transport...

The Ottomen Army, however, has been obliterated.

-All Turkish artillery is in Russian hands
-Turkish B-class Pre-Dread was wiped out
-All but one of the destroyers in its stack was wiped out. Remaining destroyer fended off a suicide assault by an explosives laden transport, but was still redlined by coastal artillery.
-All defenders of the Turkish artillery stack were slaughtered, including the only Turkish corps

The Turks are expected to surrender within the next few weeks... or be occupied.

A German roadblock was lightly bombarded. The Tzar asserts that it was a test of the new Turkish conscripts, who apparently performed admirably.

An all fronts assault is expected to unfold over the next two months. The Tzar is highly confident that it will result in a total destruction of enemy forces.

A brief truce has been requested of the Kaiser; the Tzar wishes to entertain his dear cousin in the city of Posen, in which a grand palace has been constructed specifically for said engagement.

The St. Petersburg Police apprehended several members of the Bolshevik party this week after a brief exchange of gunfire. The insurgents have been condemned to death by beheading on the 3rd of December.
