WW1 Real Time or PBEM

who has the turn?

i feel like a heroin addict who hasnt had a fix in a year! ;p

Detlef sent me a GPS message at 8.45am GMT on the 19th, so I guess Music has it.

@ Detlef ... it would help others keep track of the turn if you posted here when you play, even if you have nothing to report :)

@ Detlef...Was there a battle report?

@ MT...come on, Dazz is back and I think we can really get this moving again...besides, I want to see if I can reverse the direction the whole thing is headed...

If someone drops out, I volunteer to fill the void, Rcoutme know me.

Actually, didn't you sign up for this origionally? If we have any problems, you will be the first to sub...

I did, but I never got a PM telling me when the game started, so I forgot all about it, which is partly my mistake. In the WW2 game pacific originated by Loulong, there is a more firm email exchange and use of PMs, which I believe is needed to get a game started.

I never got a e-mail on my turn. I checked my e-mail can whoever who sent me the turn send it to me again? and I check this thread about every 3 or 4 days.

And that is why it has taken you 2 days to establish you didn't get the turn. May I suggest you check the thread more often ?

EDIT ... I note that, from what you posted further up the thread, that you didn't get the emails regarding my temporary absence either. Do you have anti-spam perhaps ? Maybe you should check that folder also.

Would somebody please send MT his turn... And MT, it is essential that you check your e-mail and this forum (you should have a subscritption on this thread that sends it to your e-mail!) EVERYDAY. If possible, do it multiple times. Also, Dazz G's suggestion that it might be in your "junk" or "spam" mail makes a lot of sense. Several e-mails sent to me...one by Dazz G and Lou Long went there at first. Ussually by making them a contact this will stop. Also, check your blocked addresses list. Regardless, there has been a problem with you on two occasions now and it would be great if you could keep this from happening again... Remember, communication (mainly in this forum) is the key!

@ Provolution...the reason that I never e-mailed you is that you never posted your e-mail...I suppose I can check that in your profile, but I was new to everything except downloading maps and scenarios at the time. Anyways, sorry that I didn't include you and if we are still having problems with the transfer from Detlef to MT to myself, I would gladly add you as Italy.

@ Detlef, because of recent problems in this thread please post GPS after every turn so we don't lose track of the game anymore. I will also personally e-mail you to notify you of this.

@ Music Theory, you have 48 hours from the time of this post to get the game sent along.

To be fair to Detlef, he always sends me a ' turn received ' email when he gets it so I always know what is happening up to that point. I usually get this at about 8.45 - 9.00 am GMT so I reckon this is his playing time ... it is probably also when he will read this and resend the turn to MT, assuming the file isn't sitting in MT's junk, that is.

Ok...I know he (Detlef) does a good job of Received and GPS by e-mail as I send to him in another PBEM.

@ MT, that means you have 24 hours from 9 AM GMT Monday morning or from when we receive a second confirmation that Detlef has resent it. Check your "junk" and "spam" mail too! Please get this moving faster as it was for your first turn and before you joined.

Thanks,
BK
