So which civs are we taking?

Personally I'd like to have either the German Empire, British Empire, Austria-Hungary, or Ottomans in that order...

And the Civs to pick for us:
1-Italy
2-German Empire
3-Russian Empire
4-French Empire
5-Austria-Hungary
6-British Empire
7-Ottoman Empire
8-And Neutrals (whom I feel should have to be the AI!)

Requirements of each player:
1a-A willingness to finish out the game
1b-Reconfirmation that you now have the new scenario downloaded and have made sure that it works...

This means I need reconfirmation that they are still playing from rcoutme, Luk, and Delpjero as everyone else is very eager to get this thing going!!!

2-And of course proper PBEM etiquette...check e-mail as often as possible...minimum of once a day...play the turn and send it ASAP

I have redownloaded the file and tried to extract it by parts. So far the game has some pbs at the beginning with missing wavs etc... but I think it could work. Reserve me France please and I will let you know when it is working ASAP.

Not only is Lou listed against France, two of the original line up have yet to confirm they are in so, until then, I wouldn't say we are full up yet.

yep.

Kaiserjager.gif is wrongly spelt into "Kaisej,ger.gif" which caused my unzipper to block.
So I had to do extract it in two parts then complete the downlaod because some items of every part are related to the other part so they did not "knwo" where to be. Took me a while restarting/correcing every one. There might be some problems left with "future" units but I will correct them when I encounter them (only way to know there are missing parts).

Wonder why I was the only one (apparently) who had that pb though... ???

Was this problem with TGW2.1 ?

Did you unzip directly into Civ folders or did you unzip elsewhere ?

Was TGW2.0 in the same folder you were unzipping 2.1 into ?

The pb was with the "Art" file which is I believe independant from the version.

I've installed it yesterday and checked it a little bit. I found no failure, but they can come between the game is running.

If a problem does pop up during play it will probably be along the lines of ' xxxxx file is missing' .... make a note of the exact file that causes the problem then email the other players - for some reason, not everyone seems to be missing the same files (I think it has to do with what is already on your system, specifically modified files) so that another player may be able to copy and email the missing file to you ... it can save a lot of time trawling through your game file trying to fix the problem by hand .... much better to take the emailed replacement file and copy it into the appropiate folder.

You can pick from Italy, Germany, or Russia as I will change civs to accomadate your preference...
