How did China get Warsaw ?????
Was it Commie China or Nationalist China that took the city?

Apparantly earlier in 1941 when the USSR was at war with the Axis, The Allies (including Nat'l China) sent ground units across the USSR and the Chinese units in concert with other assaults were the ones who ended up conquering Warsaw! unbelievable but I wouldn't even think of making that up.

I think there is a way to see all of my posts since September about this USA playtest. You may want to review some of them to see some of the other experiments that I have tried.

Lend Lease is the term used by the USA for the massive Commercial Credits which were provided to the allies to acquire equiptment from the manufacturing sector in the United States - An incredible double talk by President Roosevelt while neutral! The basic idea: USA would "lend" them the equiptment ordered for the duration and if they gave it back to us or it was destroyed they would not have to pay for it. This actually resulted in the British pushing 100's of first line fighters (F4U and Wildcat 2s) as well as other land equiptment off ships in the atlantic rather then having to pay for them.
 
I have done some mod work on this scenario and this is what I have so far.
Please tell me what you think.
1.Un land locked Philadelphia
2.Add 1 polish sub.
3.Renamed Soloman Island Guadalcanal. Renamed Radom Krakow. Remaned Bagdad Baghdad.
4.I cut of the tip of Denmark @194 50 so Sweden cant block it.
5.I put mines west of Malmö to keep Swedish Navy from attacking Copenhagen.
6.We add 2 BF 109s for Switzerland & 1 BF 109 to Yugoslavia.
7.Added a US airbase SW of London with 1 flak and 1 speicial fortress.
8.I added Tripoli Wonder and allow Air & Sea trade.
9.I put the no raze patch in.
10.Cut Gao. Cut Puerto Acre. Cut York Factory. Cut Fort Chipewyart.
11.Added Cebu. Added Midway with barracks,airport, and coatal fortress pop 1 and 2 Special fortress.
Added Wake with pop 1 coastal fortress & 1 Special fortress. Added Tarawa 1 Special fortress.
Added Palau 2 Special fortress.
12.Put victory locations in Midway,Wake,Palua,Tarawa,Manila,Cebu,Davao,Singapore,Batavia,Padang,
Banjarmasin,Hanoi,Saigon,Hong Kong,Oslo,
13.Minefield hp bonus of 20.
14. Added German Airbase west of Rome with 2 Special fortress.

16Added 1 Special fortress to each Japanese home island city.

18.Added 2 light tanks conscript to Poland in Warsaw.

24.I dont know how to cut out worker options so I made it so you need air 1945 2 for railroads,Clear forest,Plant forest,and clear jungle.
25.Added 1 Special fortress in each Libyan City 4 in Tripoli.
 
why cut out worker options?
Railroad:
A rail network makes it way too easy to transfer troops around the world. The AI is not able to make use of the railroad option in a very efficient way.

Planting clearing etc:
The Idea is not to shape your battlefield according to your plan but adjust the plan according to the battlefield. The scenario covers 1939 - 1945/6, not enough time to overhaul the earths flora and geography.
 
i thought that the mod had made it so it took a few 100 turns to build railroads/clear/plant?

i know why railroads have been cut out
 
In my mod I will add the Meteor & P80.
Can someone suggest stats for these?

An idea on "what if" French units.
Maybe add a "France resource" and require it to make "what if" units for the French.

in the latest version it takes 28 turns for railroads on plains

Why do you want to go to such lengths, wouldn't it suffice to define them as French units thus only french cities might produce them.

I see, but aren't the French at an disadvantage as it is? Wouldn't it be more fun if the French could put up some real resistance even in North Africa?

When playing as the French you are bound to defend your European holdings anyway, a French resource won't change the situation.

Yes 2 of those tanks have been made and wil be released with SOE.

Along with alot more then u'll ever need.

U have sm good ideas. But why mess with a mod thats as great as this 1. Smth we the SST team hopes to live up to as a runner up to.

FCM should be considered having stas like a Pz IV G, but slower and much more costly. ARL sligtly less than the Königstiger, Char G 1 about the same like a III E or IVD. Just a first thought.

Equuleus concerning the stats for Metor and P 80: They should have stats below the Me 262, since the abilities of that plane was not reached before 1949.

Firstly, our situation may not be as absolute tactical simulators.
Keeping that in mind, a pronounced pro-German technological approach would be both against history and reason; furthermore, it could be characterized as smacking of German proto-technological rose coloured glasses.

The game cannot exactly simulate the ability of all aircraft. The german jet was not exercised in anything above low level scale. Given that is not in the interest of gameplay to have every increment represented by units, such a move would not be warranted.

Given current inbalances in favour of German units, this could be characterized as another ahistorical manouever in the favour of ahistorical forces. This is the only measure of objective history that lends itself to this situation.

If it is for a matter of gameplay against the sillyness of the AI, that is one thing. If it is a silly matter of febrile attempts at the glorification of aircraft of one side above and beyond the objective measure, then that belongs elsewhere.
 
Sillyness of the artificial idiocy aside as well as limited abilities to be total correct in simulating abilities, the German equipment was mostly better than their counterparts. However it is true that most of these weapons were not used in large scale. Despite this if a weapon has impressive abilities shown when fighting against a supremacy it speaks for itself. It is estimated that the Me 262 jet fighter destroyed over 1.000 planes, although most of these kills were not recognized officially. And only with not more than 250 planes in 9 months! However it is true, they never met jet fighters as opponents. Indeed the first jet fight happened over Korea. But the USAAF refused several attempts of a hobby pilot, who had bought a Me 262 to fight against a P 80.

An idea on the "sub bug".
Create an invisible and immobile infantry unit and place it in the middle of Germany.
This may be a good war trigger without having to add countries to the allies.
