ComradeDavo,
Thank you for reporting that.
Notes have been taken.

yes, Klyden has incorporated this for the MP version which has several 'unconnected' locales among the 8 positions.

IarnGreiper said:I want to share the first beta experiences with you. Right now only the first stages of the war are playable in the European theatre for your information.
Week 36
At the dawn of september 1st, the Kriegsmarine started shelling Danzig. The reduced defenders were no match for the German infantry coming from Königsberg.
Meaanwhile the Luftwaffe destroyed the Polish airforce on the ground and paved the way for the Panzer spearheads. Our Panzer troops successfully secured Lublin and Radom.
With those positions claimed the Luftwaffe was ordered to do some more damage to Polish troops while Heeresgruppe Nord took position on the hills west of Warsaw while Heeresgruppe Süd is guarding Radom and threatening Warsaw from the south.
Throughout the Reich we positioned our forces in preperation of Allied counter attacks. Some naval units were concentrated in Bremen.
At the moment I am betatesting a BETA large map for Rocoteh. ATM only the initial war in central Europe is playable.Bob1475 said:Is there a BETA large map available?
IarnGreiper said:Maybe Rocoteh or somebody else has more information on this issue but I don t think the British navy has ever built a single ship in those places.
If this system is implemented it s easy to split into "Industry" and "HeavyIndustry", so basic units can be build everywhere, semi advanced weapons need the first resource and advanced weapons need both.
For me advanced units should only be build in places like the British isles, France heartland, Germany, Italy, the low countries, Russia, Sweden, North America, Japan etc.
We can maybe agree to give places like Singapore medium advanced weapon industry.

Hornblower said:The construction of advanced weaponry for the Commonwealth countries can be largely confined to the UK itself, Canada and Australia.
Those three parts of the Commonwealth could build everything. Canada and Australia whilst not building major fleet units still produced large numbers of destroyers and corvettes and to a lesser extent tanks, fighters and bombers.
India and the African dominions supplied large numbers of personnel to the cause so maybe a relevant slow auto produce for each region. For example a slow auto producing Halifax bomber or the like for Canada, destroyers for the UK and Australia and infantry for India and Africa. Additionally an auto producing Spitfire in London.
Malta and Gibraltar despite being impregnable for the duration of the war had to have everything shipped to them. USS Wasp even shipped fighters to Malta prior to the entry of the US in the war I think.
Singapore was a fortress city but had no capability to produce anything itself.
An idea to chew over...
Is it possible to introduce "enslave" into the mix. I was thinking that you could enable a one specific unit from each CIV such as SS Inf or a Tank unit. It would represent POW's or captured turn-coat/sympathisers as evidenced on the Russian front? I'm not sure if the game engine allows it in the editor but it is certainly a feature in some of the scenarios.
