Spain has insulted us by demanding we remove our troops from their territory, mentioning something about our history with Greece. We were only traveling through their waters to return home. Now our weary troops must wait a little longer to rest. We will not forget this Spain.

Week 38
Again Spain makes these unreasonable demands. We are very offended. I just noticed that Mashhad, Persia has been taken by the Germans. Also the Persian city Esfahan has been razed. I have seen no other razings yet.

Week 39
My forces are in position to invade Spain as retribution and to expand the Roman Empire.

I finally took Madras, but I had so many losses that I have to take reinforcements. The Matilda 2 seems to be the preferred British defense unit.
The war at sea: An elite Soviet coastal sub is sunk in the Pacific by U 212. Also a British DD sunk by T 15, which is now elite.

The Escort Carriers are interesting builds.

6 Uboats were lost by sinking a US BB C2 and a convoy unit. From here on I have to make clear that when I mean convoy I mean a TR or convoy unit escorted by warships, while a convoy unit is a convoy unit in the game.
Antananarivo is mine. However I decided first to use my fleet to take Australia before then returning to Europe and preparing for D- Day.

Also I have to report that the city north east of Buenos Aires is razed by the Brazilians.
Also heavy air strikes on Colombo, where a TR, 2 1939 DD and a CL were sunk."

I fortify Zagreb and Belgrade. I have two infantry left and I send my sub which almost sinks a Italian M. CV but fails. I have info from Germany intellegence obtained after the war and found in Department of the Army Phamplet No. 20-260, November 1953; "German Campaigns in the Balkans (Spring 1941)" which you might find useful in placing Greece and Yugoslav units"

i had a very strange bugg.
i played as the germans (v2.2)
as i wanted to move a stack subs to a position the game just blocked and shut-down :s
luckely that it was in the first turn.
i don't know if you can do anythin about it, but just sayin/askin info about it.

The American Navy is a menace. Their heavy cruisers and battleships keep bombarding my cities!!! I had to move all of my sally bombers to kyoto to help keep the threat at bay. Luckily the Americans don't have any transports . My fleet is coming to reinforce the islands; I encountered the Enterprise and the Yorktown. The Yorktown i sank, but the Enterprise got away, and bombed one of my heavy cruisers to destruction However it's moving east towards China."

Horrible!!! My transport of six Japanese infantry just ONE turn from Davao and taking the Phillipines and securing rubber was bombed into flaming ruins
Thinking I spotted subs around Indonesia, my Australian invasion party must land and attack the closest city: Singapore. Singapore falls quickly. I sink a U.S. Heavy Cruiser and bomb another one to destruction. The USS Enterprise CV is sunk by the LIght CA nagara Class Naka. In honor of this victory, Naka is renamed the Honored Naka Nanning is taken from the Nationalist Chinese forces. So far that is two british cities I have taken, as soon as i deal with the americans austrlia with fall soon!"

Took Ansi from the Communists. I sank a US BB and another US Hvy CA.

I sank the U.S.S. Saratoga CV!!! Mutsu sinks the USS BB New York, Ise sinks the USS BB TEnnessee, and Palembang (The Dutch Capital) falls. That gives me three sources of oil and one of rubber!!!!!! The only problem is i have to get an airport to get the resources all of over my lands, and that's gonna take 25 turns!
I also lose 2 BB and a Heavy CA, but sink 3 USS BB."

If you capture Padang, the wonder there will connect Sumatra
with Japan. There will be more wonders that allow air-trade in version 2.3.

BB Nagato sinks the USS BB West Virginia. BB Yamashiro sinks the Nevada. BB Ise sinks US BB (Couldnt get the name) BB Kongo sinks Mississippi. I take Davao; the Phillipines are mine!

Turn 50-It's all over the Pacific Fleet
Su-Chou is taken from the Commuists. The BB Mutsu sinks the USS BB Oklahoma, BB Kongo attacks the USS BB Pennsylvania, but is sunk. Yamashiro sinks USS BB Pennsylvania. The Yamashiro has sunk the Pennsylvania, Nevada, and I think it also sank a BB whose name I didn't get. After the battle, I rename it the Most Nobly Honored Yamashiro. I sent one Japanese Marine SNLF from Nanning to attack Hanoi. I defeated two of their defense units; i'm not sure how many are in the city."

This campaign provided valuable experience and lessons for our forces. Additionally, we have incorporated those citizens who wish to fight for the greater good into Croatian infantry divisions. The 1st Croatian Infantry Division fought with great distinction and courage in Southern France and was instrumental in capturing Lyon. As for France, this bountiful land has quickly blossumed under our ordered guidance and will soon be contributing to our war effort. The Germans have been great partners in our global struggle and have aided us in our joint conquest of France. The Italian navy has fought valiantly throughout the Mediterranean to rid it of the forces of evil. I am proud to anounce that as of now the entire Sea belongs to the New Roman Empire. Our enemies fear to tread on this sea. With such success, we have been able to accelerate our timetable for invasion of French North Africa. Even now our victorious forces return from Morocco, having dispatched the last of French power. Its very positive though.

New CVE ready: Danzig.
Also I just completed U 501. Time to look after my Uboat losses. I just have 277 Uboats (+ 1 Rumanian submarine). That means I lost until now 224 Uboats in the fights with the allies.
Also I took Lagos.
T 11 became elite by sinking a British 1941 DD off Dakar.

PC turn:
A US CVE spotted off the Canarias islands. Also the British still send their DD to me. And I could spot a British KGV class BB off North America.
Nothing more to be mentioned.

In Africa Maputo, Beira and Nampula were taken by the Portuguese with the same sneaky attack I eliminated the Thais. I want to finish the job here quickly. So I also took Kano and liberated Nigeria from the cruel British rule. And Johannesburg is also mine.
As well as in Russia Kolyma.

pazza: Yes. In this scenario, you can build everything under mobilization, but you will not get any production benefit for buildings and some units, like artillery & bombers to name a couple. Rocoteh can correct me if I am wrong, but I think it was his intent that players SHOULD use wartime mobilization for this scenario.

Italy 2.2, Chieftain

Week 40, 1940 Barcelona, Valencia, In Salah
We are at war with Spain! Our first strike is by sea. We take Barcelona then Valencia with navy shelling followed by amphimious assault. Only losing 2 Mtn Inf in the process. Meanwhile, our army destroys the french rebels hiding at In Salah.

Week 41 Zaragoza
Our artillery weakens the defenders of Zaragoza, allowing our tanks to easily take the city. Naval bombardment followed by amphimious assault destroys the fortress at Gibralter.

Week 42
There sure are a lot of units garrisoning Gibralter. It will take some more time to weaken them with naval bombardment before we can begin our landings. Interesting note: Paris and Lille are down to 1 population. I assume the RAF is to blame.

Week 43 Madrid
Madrid falls to a combined air and ground assault.

Week 44 Cordoba, Gibralter
Germans take Khorramshahr from the Persians. This expedition has thankfully kept the British busy while I finish off Spain. Cordoba taken. Gibralter finally falls after the loss of 6 M11/39s. Spain only has Coruna left.

Week 45 Lissabon
Amphibious assault captures Lissabon. I figure that my military might is on its way to Coruna so I might as well make a small stop over in Portugal. Besides, the Roman Empire must reclaim all its former lands which means the entire Iberian pennisula.

Week 46 La Coruna
My tanks capture La Coruna, Spain is eliminated

Japan has most of China and Vietnam, Manila, Guam, while they lost all possessions in Indonesia to Britain, with one exception. Otherwise nothing more important happened except the razing of two South American cities by AI.
