I attacked the first British landing force consisting of two damaged KGV class BB, a 1939 DD and a TR with my Uboats off Hokkaido. 3 Uboats were lost, a third of all of my remaining Uboats in the Pacific. I need reinforcements here!
However I also conquered Thailand with a tactic not very fair: After making a RoP agreement I sent my troops, here artillery and a few Panzer III G, into position. Then I declared war and shelled the defender to death. Then I took the cities and Thailand is mine."

I took Yenan from the Communists and Ningpo from the chinese. Once again my bombers played a very important role in those attacks. On the PC turn, Nanking (Sp.?) Was attacked by about 12-15 Chinese Infantry (2.7.1). Well seeing as Japanese infantry is a 11.11.1, they didn't fare very well. NO loses were recorded. In fact, I held off that entire onslaught with just ONE Japanese Infantry (he lost only 3 health)"

Once again I sailed on down south and bombed Amoy and took it from the Chinese. I sent my China fleet down into the harbor of Hong Kong and commenced to bombard it."

The feared U.S. Navy has been sighted in the form of DDs. DDs can travel much farther than the rest of the fleet, so I'm not expecting them for at least 4 more turns. By then the home islands will have produced Kate bombers to deal with the threat. The Yamato Class is still being produced in Tokyo. I continued my bombardment of Hong Kong, sadly 3 bombers were lost in the attack. My marines and seaborne infantry carried on the assault on Hong Kong amphibious style. The remaining defense-one flake with two Health left."

I think Australia is very important.

Germany Emperor 2.1---Week 10 1941

My army of "Super Men" in North Africa has taken all cities other than Egypt. Surprisingly with only about 10 Ju88's and 5 Stuka's spread throughout North Africa, my Panzer III E's and German Infantry have sustained 0 casualties! Now that's amazing in my eyes.

Draft some units in nearby cities, Rome and all. Send them to the French border to fortify in behind the bunker things. A wave of idiotic Frenchmen attacked and get their butts kicked by my fortresses. So now I pretty much have the advantage on that border. French subs (Pretty much all that's left) attack my subs and 1939 Ships, and the subs lose dramarically. Feelin happy today! I see some more Frenchmen moving units up to my border (Obviously from cities), and attack, and kill a few fortresses, but when my turn comes around, my units kill them. So now, there are only a few more defences on the French - Italian border."

Not very smart play from France-AI!

"So I begin cutting through like a knife, but I don't succeed in taking them out completely. Next turn is fushoom though. Go time! I make a bombing run on Marsilies, and obliterate tons of its population and injure its units. But alot of the bombing runs failed. I move some of my uninjured ships up to bombard-mania, and bombard French troops and cities. Man, this is fun. Then, more cutting comes through after I draft some more units. Still don't take out the whole border defence, but make it even more weary, to the point that they most likely WON'T attack me, they'll just sit there and try to heal. Well, that's about it for today. I'll try to play tomorow."

I made an amphibious landing near Antananarivo to take Madagascar next turn. In Russia Ochotsk is mine. Russia will be taken until the end of the year.

PC turn:
2 US convoys with one BB C2 resp. 3 BB C2 and a TR spotted off North America. Also the British seem to harrass me with DD 1941.

Week 41:
I finally took Madras, but I had so many losses that I have to take reinforcements. The Matilda 2 seems to be the preferred British defense unit.
The war at sea: An elite Soviet coastal sub is sunk in the Pacific by U 212. Also a British DD sunk by T 15, which is now elite.
New ships:
BB: Spichern
CV: Otto Könnecke
CVE: London, Moskau
CL C2: Breslau
6 Uboats were lost by sinking a US BB C2 and a convoy unit. From here on I have to make clear that when I mean convoy I mean a TR or convoy unit escorted by warships, while a convoy unit is a convoy unit in the game.
Antananarivo is mine. However I decided first to use my fleet to take Australia before then returning to Europe and preparing for D- Day.

PC turn:
3 British DD are now off the North West African coast and a single CVE tried to break through the Atlantic. Also the second US convoy is now in range. Nothing important happened otherwise.

US Bombs Cagliari Then it gets bad the GERMANS have SO MUCH POWER OVER THE FRENCH in the air; they bomb and kill units at Verdun and they take Verdun and kill my DLM. They kill off my defenses and my counter-offensive forces; Italy lands troops near Bern...the end is nigh I am afraid. Also last AI turn Japs took Guam; two British planes are intercepted over Bremen.

German airplanes fly over Maginot line; they drop leftlets saying:

GERMANY IS THE GREATEST!
SURRENDER THE MAGINOT LINE AND GERMANY SHALL SPARE YOU HER MIGHTY BLADE!​

I once against consider an armistice but fight on with one DCR which I place near Paris; I draft from all possilbe cities and use those units to defend. I move subs in med.

Week 42:
U 224 sank the British CVE and became elite. 10 Uboats lost by sinking the three US BB C2 and the TR.
New ships:
BB: Metz, Vionville
CV: Hans Klein
Between Nouakchott and Dakar T 10 and T 11 sank two British DD 1941. My Torpedoboat flotilla is sweeping through the British DD harassing me here.
In Africa Abijan and Accra are mine now, as well as Dodoma.
Also I just saw that a British squadron consisting of a KGV BB and a CVE tried to break trough the lines via Greenland. My Bismarck class BB Anhalt sank the BB while T 12 sannk the CVE and became elite.
Also I have to report that the city north east of Buenos Aires is razed by the Brazilians.
Also heavy air strikes on Colombo, where a TR, 2 1939 DD and a CL were sunk.

A US CA C2 escorting a Convoy unit sank a Uboat.

I take the Italian city of Tirana and forget to garrison it.

I attack Tirana and fail to retake it. I push out all of the Italian invasion force; now I only have 4 infantry and one sub left; non of which are at cities.
BTW I have a lot of info on Yugoslavia during WWII which I can give to you.

AI: Italy kills one of my infantry. Germany sends on Panzer to Zagreb. Germany occupies off of Holland in Europe. Germany sends one Infantry to Belgrade.

Week 39, 1939:
I fortify Zagreb and Belgrade. I have two infantry left and I send my sub which almost sinks a Italian M. CV but fails. I have info from Germany intellegence obtained after the war and found in Department of the Army Phamplet No. 20-260, November 1953; "German Campaigns in the Balkans (Spring 1941)" which you might find useful in placing Greece and Yugoslav units.

Week 43:
Ojmjakon taken as well as Madurai. Made an aerial landing on Ceylon. Soon the last sign of British rulership in India will fall.
U 382 sank the US CA that sank the Uboat in the turn before. I nevertheless lost a Uboat by attacking the convoy unit. However another Uboat finishes the job and becomes elite.
Off Dakar T 13 sank another British DD without being hit.

PC turn:
Nothing important happens, only the city north north west of Porto Allegre is razed. It seems the South American AI is even worse in that area than the Japanese.

Kiss up to Germany and Italy and get ROP's till your ready to strike; kick the food out of Greece!

Bombed Manilla as some bombers were attacking me. One American bomber was destroyed in the run.

My one Japanese infantry took Lanchow from the Communists and held off a communist counter-strike on the city

Manilla has fallen!

Turn 45
The American Navy is a menace. Their heavy cruisers and battleships keep bombarding my cities!!! I had to move all of my sally bombers to kyoto to help keep the threat at bay. Luckily the Americans don't have any transports . My fleet is coming to reinforce the islands; I encountered the Enterprise and the Yorktown. The Yorktown i sank, but the Enterprise got away, and bombed one of my heavy cruisers to destruction However it's moving east towards China.

Turn 46
Horrible!!! My transport of six Japanese infantry just ONE turn from Davao and taking the Phillipines and securing rubber was bombed into flaming ruins
Thinking I spotted subs around Indonesia, my Australian invasion party must land and attack the closest city: Singapore. Singapore falls quickly. I sink a U.S. Heavy Cruiser and bomb another one to destruction. The USS Enterprise CV is sunk by the LIght CA nagara Class Naka. In honor of this victory, Naka is renamed the Honored Naka Nanning is taken from the Nationalist Chinese forces. So far that is two british cities I have taken, as soon as i deal with the americans austrlia with fall soon!

Took Ansi from the Communists. I sank a US BB and another US Hvy CA.

Turn 48
I sank the U.S.S. Saratoga CV!!! Mutsu sinks the USS BB New York, Ise sinks the USS BB TEnnessee, and Palembang (The Dutch Capital) falls. That gives me three sources of oil and one of rubber!!!!!! The only problem is i have to get an airport to get the resources all of over my lands, and that's gonna take 25 turns!
I also lose 2 BB and a Heavy CA, but sink 3 USS BB.

Turn 49
BB Nagato sinks the USS BB West Virginia. BB Yamashiro sinks the Nevada. BB Ise sinks US BB (Couldnt get the name) BB Kongo sinks Mississippi. I take Davao; the Phillipines are mine!

Turn 50-It's all over the Pacific Fleet
Su-Chou is taken from the Commuists. The BB Mutsu sinks the USS BB Oklahoma, BB Kongo attacks the USS BB Pennsylvania, but is sunk. Yamashiro sinks USS BB Pennsylvania. The Yamashiro has sunk the Pennsylvania, Nevada, and I think it also sank a BB whose name I didn't get. After the battle, I rename it the Most Nobly Honored Yamashiro. I sent one Japanese Marine SNLF from Nanning to attack Hanoi. I defeated two of their defense units; i'm not sure how many are in the city.

pazza: You don't need to build an airport; what you need is to take a city with the airport icon next to it. There are only a few cities that have these and thus enable air transport of resources. The only one you can get in the pacific is that dutch city in Sumatra(city SW of Singapore). Even if you take Davao and build an airport, it won't give you the rubber since it can't be transported by sea or air in 2.2,unless you have a wonder that has air trade. If you look at the map closely you will see there are a bunch in Europe, one in Reykjavik, etc. but not many in the Far East.

Year 1 1939-1940
The State of War: We have exceeded our wildest expectations thus far in our war to bring about the rebirth of the Roman Empire. First to fall were Yugoslavia and Greece. This campaign provided valuable experience and lessons for our forces. Additionally, we have incorporated those citizens who wish to fight for the greater good into Croatian infantry divisions. The 1st Croatian Infantry Division fought with great distinction and courage in Southern France and was instrumental in capturing Lyon. As for France, this bountiful land has quickly blossumed under our ordered guidance and will soon be contributing to our war effort. The Germans have been great partners in our global struggle and have aided us in our joint conquest of France. The Italian navy has fought valiantly throughout the Mediterranean to rid it of the forces of evil. I am proud to anounce that as of now the entire Sea belongs to the New Roman Empire. Our enemies fear to tread on this sea. With such success, we have been able to accelerate our timetable for invasion of French North Africa. Even now our victorious forces return from Morocco, having dispatched the last of French power. They will continue to hunt down the rebels in the desert, but the Western Mediterranean is now at peace. The Roman Empire has a destiny to fulfill, a destiny of restoring our proud people to pre-eminence and bringing a Pax Romana to all the lands once claimed in ancient times. Thus, the next year of this war will see the retaking of Eygpt and the establishment of a lank link to our proud colonies on the Horn of Africa. The conquest Palestine and the Fertile Cresant shall complete our return to the glorious days of old and launch our legacy as the Greatest of all Empires. Rome Forever!
