XML errors that affect cinematics. I need help!

Whenever I try playing Civilizations 4: Beyond the Sword I get these XML error messages. They occur when civ 4 is loading around the point it gets to init XML (uncached). Several error messages appear all of which are similar because they all deal with the movies or victory info and etc. After I click through all these error messages I go through the usual start up movies, however the beyond the sword beginning cinematic doesn’t play, what it says here is “Movies not installed correctly”. But after that I’m able to play the game without a problem. Multiplayer is fine, but in single player another thing that happens is that when I build certain wonders, the movies for them don’t play.
Just as background information, because I think there’s a possibility that this may have caused it. But I found a mod that added another victory movie from this link: http://www.strategyinformer.com/pc/civilizationiv/mod/16742.html
I did what the download instructs told me to do. This was a while ago, but I believe that’s when I started to notice the problem.
Below I’m put a list of the error messages in order that they appeared. I have no idea what I’m supposed to do, I’ve tried reinstalling several times and nothing worked. Any help would be great. Thank you.

I'd blame the new movies (probably some file or even just some character missing in one of the files. Did you install this into the core game files or into custom assets?

I honestly dont remember, im pretty sure i just followed that guide. Do you think there's a way to download that missing file or maybe it just got put into the wrong file or something?
Also ill try to figure out where i installed it, but right now im not sure

if it was you should be able to just delete the custom assets folder (or rename to any other name) and it should work again...

I just tried it, but it didn't work. I deleted the custom assets folder from my program files. Didn't work. Any other suggestions?

sorry for the late reply I am currently in the midst of a move and not online much. Unfortunately I am stumped there - I'd probably reinstall the game, but maybe someone else knows better...

eh, its alright, i actually have tried reinstalling it several times, and i tried using revo uninstaller, but still nothing works. But its alright, thanks a lot for the help though man
