I'll vote Malenkov, then. I'm sure he was best in some sense.Lockesdonkey said:Any sense.
NO WAY was Lenin a great revolutionarty leader, he was in fact ruining the whole russian revolutiony movement (pre GreatWar) by arguing with everyone about everything, he didn't even see world war 1 coming, in fact in the lead up to it the Ohkrana saw Lenin as their best chance of disintergrating the Social Democratic party, he was creating a schism. He spent his whole time writing and ranting against the other Marxists, he was incrediablly naive, if it wasn't for the Tsar's own disentergration during world war 1 Lenin would never have been in posistion to seize power.Terje said:Lenin was a great revolutionary leader, but I have doubts about his abilities as a statesman.
HE WAS TERRIABLE!silver 2039 said:Stalin certainely. He made Russia a superpower and defeated Hitler.
No, he did not turn the USSR into a superpower, world war 2 turned them into a super power because all the other super powers (apart from the US) got trashed.silver 2039 said:Yet in the end he did turn the nation into a superpower no? All for the greater good of the nation....
