Marcus and Iulius leaned against a wall in the sweltering sun, watching the new soldiers train with their Cyprium swords and spears. "Iulius," Marcus said with joy, "Cyprium has paid off well. Do you see how those targets open up like a hot knife through butter?"
"Your Lordship, I agree," Iulius responded in his deep voice. "However, what if our enemies discover this metal?"
"Sweet Jupiter have mercy," Marcus gasped. "I have two projects for you, Secretary Iulius. First, find if Cyprium will work to defend our men from such weapons. Secondly, those people from the supposed Green-land have insulted us. One of their ambassadors killed a soldier of ours when he was drunk. We will retaliate, and see how green this land actually is."
Iulius chuckled. "I get the hint, Your Lordship. Consider it done. But will our simple boats reach them?"
"If not, I will put it on my plans to talk to our Master of Ships. We WILL have the correct boats and weapons to win this land of greenness, Iulius, mark my words," Marcus responded strongly.
"Very well. I will send in the Master of Finances now," Iulius said while leaving.
'Hopefully Sextus will agree with my plans for the city of gold,' Marcus thought.
"Marcus!" the fat man shouted. "How are you, my friend?"
"Fine," Responded a grinning Marcus, "and so will be the new location for Urbeaurum."
"Let me guess," Sextus smirked, "on the Rivuauri?"
"Old friend, you know me too well," Marcus laughed. "By the way, would an assault on Green-land be worth it?"
"If not, your people will go kill them themselves," Sextus honestly replied.
"Very well," Marcus sighed. "Now, go plan that new city and expand our lands."
"Yes, sir!" Sextus boomed.
'Wonderful,' Marcus smiled to himself, 'I have done the wish of the gods. We have risen from the ashes, and we will thrive as an empire. What is dead may never die, but rises again stronger. I think I'll go try out a sword.'

Newness was in the air, especially with the new economic system that his Domestic Adviser had brought to him. With it, they would be able to make purchases much more efficiently, and also pay off some of their officials a little bit better. They had been working hard after all, and some deserved a nice bonus.
Of course, all of Australia's cities had been growing in population. The growth amount was smaller than in recent years, but nevertheless would produce a new generation, ready to build up Australia as a force to be reckoned with.
And five new territories had been added to Australia's domain.
Things were looking up.

Seoul is totally dominated by Japan and Xi'an! Seoul loses 3 territories to Japan and 2 territories to Xi'an. Additionally, further expansion by Seoul is now blocked.
VRT "Convince" the Gemietum to "Join" then
VRT "diplomats" enter Gemietum and "convinced" the population and surrounding territories to join them. Due to bad technology, all of Gemietum joins the VRT and are eliminated
Gem Hound has been destroyed!
ORB Union Assault
From their new and superior Naval Tech 3, the ORB Union makes a full on assault on Malaysia. Out of 16 attacks, 9 succeed. One of these attacks claims the Malaysian capital Singapura. Malaysia has fled to the mainland through an island territory not captured by the ORB to build New Singapura.

Byzantine attacks Marseilles
Byzantine succeed in taking 2 out of 3 attempted attacks on Marseilles. This was a sneak attack from Byzantine that was not announced until the attack commenced.
Epic Armies Move Again!
The Epic armies are back, and this time, their target is the Incan's. 5 out of 8 attacks succeed, but the Incan capital does not fall
Marseilles Strikes Back!
From the massive money towards attacking technology, Marseilles has formed the most powerful fighting force on the planet. Aggressively, Tuscany goes under fire by a powerful Marseilles. Against all odds, Firenze, Tuscany's Capital, falls! This was one of the 10 out of 29 attacks which succeeded. Tuscany is now under the threat of collapsing unless another city can be found!

Without any real defense, Greenland is overtaken by the UAE with their new Naval Technology. The NWACE was there too, but was immediately scared off by the UAE's presence.

With all the war, vacations are not ones top priority. However, Sana'a has managed not to declare war, and has even revamped their culture! As a result, Sana'a is booming with tourists, seeking for a beach resort and sightseeing!

"Of course!" boomed Sextus. "We were expecting this!"
"Very well. So, how went our conquering?" Marcus asked.
"Wonderfully!" Sextus replied. "Except for the fact that some nation called the United African Empire beat us there. However, the land wasn't green. But, the new galleys and triremes held up well, however, and we make a new boat that can sail across the oceans easily just as we speak, and according to the people there, there is an island called Iceland nearby that is the opposite of Greenland!"
"Sir!" shouted Iulius, walking in with assorted pieces of armor. "Cyprium worrks wonders for this! Look!" He took a helmet, put it on the ground, ad smashed it with his sword. it bounced off harmlessly.
"Great!" Marcus exclaimed. "But what's that sword you hold there?"
"Supposedly its a sword made of a metal called Ferrium from the UAE. Look what it does." He swung it at the helmet, and it made a dent. A second swing and a third cut it down the middle.
"Get more information from these Africans on it ASAP. We NEED this metal." Marcus stated.

The King of Armenia looked out from his balcony. The Imperium had grown from its original highlands into an empire that possessed much territory and people. A large Turkish minority had made itself known, and one of the king's most recent edicts had allowed the Turks to build a city of their own. Tarabizun had grown since its founding, and consisted mostly of Turks, but also had Armenians, Azeris, and Byzantine immigrants from the west. King Dumanios was now going to meet with the Emperor of Byzantium, and hope for a right of passage.
Claim the territories in eyebleeding purple.
Build Tarabizun on the dot.
Put 5 YC into Naval Technology.
Put the rest of the money into population for Tarabizun.
