Your first car

A 2008 VW Golf Blue Motion, bought this summer. I've managed a long time without a car and I'll see if it's worth having.

I've had the most fun with my dad's old -88 Mercedes 190e 2,3l though, with rear wheel drive. Now it's all safety, economy and environment... :-/

My wife's first car: Ford Pinto (forget the exact year, but was mid 70s).

When everyone from my age group started to learn to drive at the age of 17/18, I ended up having worsening eyesight so poor that glasses barely help (and in one eye not at all), which means I can never drive. The cars that were normally bought as a first car was the Vauxhall Nova (later the Corsa), the Ford Fiesta, and I think the Citroën Saxo.
