Good for you!Elrohir said:On the contrary, I wouldn't mind adopting several babies when I'm older at all. I simply don't think it would be right or necessary to make that law.
There are no heroes in this. There are no villians. There are only people struggling to get through life as best they can. The pro lifers have had an opportunity to act on their principles and have failed to do so. They are *****ing about a problem and not doing anythig to actually solve it. They have wasted 30 years.Elrohir said:There are literally millions of Christians who would like to adopt babies, but have to wait years on waiting lists because all the unwanted babies are being aborted. You give a baby or two to every person who is infertile and wants children, then you come talk to me about lack of want, not before.
So the Christians who don't want to adopt babies are the villians, while the people who are killing the babies are the hero's? Do you listen to yourself? That doesn't make the slightest amount of sense!
Fact: There will be unwanted pregnancies where the mom will want an abortion. Calling them murdrers will not save the babies. Offering to adopt them might. Which choice is pro life?
If as you say christians want the babies that are being aborted, then why don't they ask for them? I repeat, why aren't they in front of the clinics with signs that say " I want to adopt your baby." That is being pro life. Anything short of that, is posturing.
