I think it would be easier to do a list of the smilies to keep, rather then the horrible ones.

Get rid of:

• - I don't think I've eeeeever seen this one used. Ever.
• - What is it, the smile like a donut smilie?
• - Looks more like the smacked in the face with a tire iron smilie then cringing.
• - Pointless.
• - It's like mwaha, but not as cool.
• :vampire: - Hmm, when's the last time this one was used? Again pointless.
• :love2: - See above.
• [punch] - Promotes violence and CFC as a family site shouldn't be doing that.
• :rant: - We already have a :nospam; smilie, and even when we rant people still continue spamming. So what's the point, really?
• Then take all the weapon smilies, except :suicide: & hammer, and get rid of them. Shotgun, soldier, tank(especially), phaser, baseball bat, rocket launcher, and all the other crap.
• After that take all the remaining smileys in the "Other Smilies" section, except dance, and trash them as well.

I've used the first four of your list regularly, Gengis, I would really miss 'em if they would be gone. And I really like the 'rant' one. I guess I don't want any of them gone, except for maybe the 'punch' one, I don't like that one.

edit: plexus, the sleepy one I find very useful in reports but also when it's gotten late again.
