YouTube background help

    I have been trying to upload a custom background on my new YouTube channel. I click the option for upload a background image, the loading symbol will appear, then it will go away. I click save changes and my background does not appear. I am stuck with a boring generic background. Any idea how to fix this? I don't get any error messages and I know my image is with the size parameters. I even have tried more then one image. Any idea how to fix this?
