You have made your decision, we have made ours.

If you are willing to give us 1 IC and a small coastal region guaranteed to us, we agree.

To:Tune
From: Phoenicia

We agree with your excellent judgement. Perhaps we should indeed wait for Albion, but not to long. (to Abbadon: I believe I have seen you on in the OT forums. Where are you?)

So be it.

To: The Berbers
From: Tune

The Council of Tune would like to confirm what this deal would entail if we went ahead with it. Are you saying that if we were you grant you slaves, goods and gold to the value of 100,000 Curflucks(Tunean currency aka 1 IC) and a small coastal region you will willingly become a vassal of Tune.

Terms of vassaldom will be similar to those imposed upon Tunis however they will be much lighter due to how peaceful this process has been.

These terms will be offered once we confirm if this is what your people are offering.

We await Albion's response.

The Assyrians are already dead. Unless they are willing to swear fealty to my glorious nation and become a vassal of the Realm, we will destroy them in our next battle.

To: Assyria
From: Albion

Kneel before me and swear fealty to my crown and I will spare your life and your nation can live on.

BTW, how am I meant to know you are talking to my nation when not one of you has actually mentioned me in the "to" line.. I was still waiting for an official approach!

Finally, that map is finally the right size, but such an eyesore I plan to fix it myself! Sadly, there is little I understand of this map, so expect there to be errors that need fixing.. Why is there no annotation? Capital citys? etc?

An un-******** map for all. Please feel free to point out errors, only if you are going to fix them yourselves.

Update Four – A little fall of rain
1600 B.C.

This turn, first we turn to Japan, where the mighty Fukuda dynasty continues it’s domination over the rest of Asia, or so it would seem. In the unfortunate incident occurring several decades ago, the Taiwanese monarchy was strong armed into paying a vast sum of gold to the Japanese Empire, which the Japanese banked secretly in their massive imperial city. The crippling blockade on Korea has continue, and while they attempted to raise a navy, these attempts failed miserably, as a little more than a third of their fleet survived and it was quickly crushed by the superior Japanese Navy and lack of Taiwanese support.

In other Japanese news, they fully intend to not be forced into a one dimensional role as singular naval power, so they have continued their extensive expansion, and exploration of the Japanese Home Islands. The wise emperor developed a new plan, namely “The Small Expansion” to steadily colonize, and hopefully soon totally own Japan. So far, this plan, coupled with grass roots infrastructure developments such as the process of building a series of small routes and sailing lanes to further the great profits of pan Asian trade, as well as greatly hindering the advances of pathetic pirates and highwaymen. On the northern Hokkaido Island, they have made serious progress, unifying with the northern allied shogundom and leaving but a small sliver of uncolonized land left.

In the south, the island of Honshu has, while not giving an intractable defense, they have provided slightly stiffer resistance then their less populated northern relatives. Serious Fukada progress has been made though, and with men coming back from the northern front, expect it to be only a matter of time. Only minimal losses were sustained during these campaigns, namely against the Yoritumo in 1657 B.C. and once again against the Jomon on the northern isle to preserve their last sliver of independent and sovereign land in 1603 B.C.. And finally, the Japanese delivered a large fleet to Taiwan, part show of force, part to ensure the payment of the reparations imposed by them, though this act not necessary.

In Taiwan the rulers have back pedaled from their recent attacks on Japan, paying the demanded 2IC in reparations. Then, they finally completed the Grandiose Grand Library. It is a massive collection, sending pride throughout the nation, but for it to become a truly great monument perhaps they should reestablish ties with the equally knowledgeable Japanese.

And finally, the Koreans have begun to rebuild their navies, and have established a profound new elite military unit, The Sun Warriors. Hand picked by the king, they are a 1 on 1 match for any other Asian warrior the Japanese and Taiwanese may be tempted to throw at them.

The Americas

The Cuban tribes of the Caribbean have hustled in a great period of prosperity and expansion. Jamaica and Dominica have now become little more than a domain of this great sea faring empire. The economy has exploded as a result of the trade between these isles, bring luxuries to Cuba, Florida, Mexico and beyond. Finally, the Cubans have begun to enlarge their military, worrying their Olmec neighbors….

The Olmecs have begun massively arming up, manning hundreds of men and ships. King O’Kwhamat was raised to the throne in a bloody civil war virtue of military force, and he has stayed true to his roots.

The Californians and Incans have continue their peaceful expansion.

The Mediterranean

In Tune, quite inexplicably a massive development in shipbuilding arose. Whilst testing new ships for the massive Tunean navy against fell pirates they encountered a most curious ship design. They captured this ship, and modeled several after it. Most of them sunk while testing, but one endured. It is already proven to be more combat efficient and sea steady then all the other Tunean ships. This ship named? The Trireme.

Tune has launched a mass assault upon the city state confederation of Etrusca, calling upon all their allies to answer the call to war. Unfortunately, all of them replied with a solid no, even the Tunisians, all but the recently colonized Berbers, too scared of the Tunites to say no. The campaign originally went fairly well, crushing the Etruscan navy and trade in about one go. But the Tune military has been very divided as of late, and while it is superior in arms to the Etruscans their sheer military weight (nearly 4:1!) and the fact that they were defending their homeland strengthened and emboldened the armies of Tune. At the end of the campaign, while Etrusca suffered heavy losses, they seized several Tune colonies on the coast, and are now marching south to crush the Tunite southern Italian provinces.

In other Tune moves, they have moved to assist the Phoenicians in their defense of Albons attack. The Tune forces saved the life of a great deal of Phoenicians, and they were somehow not utterly crushed by the Albonians. Yet, perhaps Phoenicians doom will come soon, with the Tune losses in Italy…

The Albonians were greatly disappointed by this failure, and caused some amount of civil unrest at home. But strategically is was even, for the Albons gained a great deal of territory. As well the Albonians were not able to divert enough men back to the Assyrian front to make any significant progress there.

War has erupted on the Greek Isles, with Mycenae staging a massive invasion, long coming, of the slightly more peaceful city state of Corinth. The elite forces of Mycenae have crushed the free men rabble of Corinth, yet in the international community Mycenae is an unliked threat. Only by beseeching her allies might Corinth survive, for general Alexomos knocks on the door of Omsa, the gate city to Corinth, with a force of 1500 men, to match Omsa’s 50 men entrenched in the fort.

In other news, due to famine Germanic production has all but stopped, and the Iberics have also been hit by a poor harvest.

Rants from the MOD

Sorry again for the late update. I really don’t want this NES to die, and now summer and me no longer super active in other NESes frees up my time. Up the order quality, please! As for the map, it is coming today or tomorrow as soon as my lovely assistant can get it done.

Awards:
Best Orders, Justo and Darth Nader and The Lose, everyone else I don’t know if it’s just for this NES, but they are of extremely poor quality.
Unluckiest Break- Charles Li, but you can recover! The Mycenae economy is terrible, and everyone hates them
Luckiest Break- No one.
